Plûtot mauvaise experience de mon coté, musique forte & pas adapté à la place, plat moyen, rien de waw(pas de grill au moment d'y aller) service long & pas d'ordre d'arriver conventionnel(entré, principale, dessert). Deception de mon coté.View more
been a few times, fun ambiance & love the beef tartareView more
Delicious food, for a very good price + it was nice atmosphere to catch up with a friends! Recommend this placeView more
The food & atmosphere was amazing !! The portions are pretty big. Rice cakes are mildly spicy😢 Overall wasn't expensive.View more
My go too Korean restaurant in mtl, make sure to have a reservation, theres always a line up. It moves fast but sometimes they could be 7 groups before you. The staff has always been super friendly & the food very good!View more
It's a nice Korean restaurant just I have been to places with better food in the area. They also recommend to reserve but you still have to wait. The place looks nice in generalView more
Loved our visit! The place may not stand out when you walk by. But you'll be taken good care by young & attentive staff (kitchen & servers). Excellent food for very reasonably priced menu & speedy service even when the place was fully packed. 6$ ( i know, right?) underground all night parking under AMC movie theatre. I'm becoming a regular👍👍👍View more
My fav Korean in Montreal. The bulgogi bibimbap is a must!!! Generous portions, fair prices, friendly service & a lovely setting- what more is there to ask for?View more
View more
Came here once not expecting much but the food was all so delicious. The tofu salad & beef tartare really stood out. Highly recommend this spot!View more
love love love this place !! ive been two times so far, & I will go again. the prices are very reasonable, the food is of amazing quality. the staff is friendly & the waiting time isn't too long, about 15 minutes !! I haven't tasted a single dish that I have loved so far. I strongly recommend the kimchi fries, the bulgogi & the bibimbap !!View more
The atmosphere in the restaurant is very pleasant, & the service is good as well. While the food may not be exceptionally outstanding, it falls within the realm of decent Korean cuisine. It's of good quality. Of course, there are still many dishes we haven't tried yet, so we plan to return & continue exploring. Overall, it's highly recommended, especially before or after watching a movie.View more
I really like the simplicity of the menu. We've tried pretty much everything on it, & we've found a "bad" one. Portions, taste, & presentation are 5 stars for the price. What I really don't like is that there is no way to reserve ahead of time on Fridays or Saturdays. You have to put yourself on the waiting list for a good hour. The place is ALWAYS packed, so it makes it a bit annoying.View more
Great restaurant. We were sitting right beside a wall lined up with blinking led lights & that got a bit anmoying but the food was fantastic. The service was a bit slow too but nothing too bothering.View more
I came to Samcha after a recommendation from a friend, I was told it was extremely spicy & delicious, so I came with expectations. It was great, the food was piping hot & fresh, & the flavors were amazing. (I had the kimchi fried rice, extremely creamy & savory with that signature gochujang flavor). Along with that, I also had the spicy teokbokki with cheese that was equally delicious. Now, as to the reason why I only rated it 4*, the teokbokki was perfectly spicy, but the kimchi fried rice barely had any spice. According to my friend, it tasted as though they've toned down the spice quite a lot since her last visit. She had the spicy udon, & there was the same statement in terms of spice level. I have a pretty low spice tolerance, & when I can barely taste it, something feels wrong. I'd recommend asking to make it spicier if you're planning to order something spicy. Other than that, it's a great place with an amazingly warm & bustling atmosphere! The sojus tastes great.View more
