The arancini were to die for !! Not one, but two orders !! The Staff was super friendly, & the owner checked on us & all other tables multiple times… It was an amazing experience ! We had the Short Rib with vegetables & the Pappardelle con Ragù di Carne; both were excellent! If you are looking for authentic Award winning Italian cuisine, this is the place to be!
This a great restaurant & a nice find in Old Montréal. Equal to the food we had in Bologna, Florence, or Rome. Arancini, Polpette, & Pappardelle with slow cooked ragu were all outstanding. The pace is relaxed, the staff is attentive, & we especially enjoyed chatting with the owner, Mario, about Italy.
Interesting small restaurant that was only about 1/3 full. Pasta was good but couldn't really eat much because of the oily fried calamari that i ordered before the main dish. They did not know the proper temerity to fry the calamari in. Instead of being crispy, the batter was soggy which had absorbed a lot of oil that couldn't spit it out because the frying temperature was too low. While it tasted good, after consuming too much oil with the dish, i lost all appetite for the pasta.

I often bring my customers here because I know they'll have an exceptional experience every time.The atmosphere is warm, inviting, & authentic perfect for business or date night dinners. The food is consistently outstanding, beautifully prepared, & absolutely delicious. What sets this restaurant apart, besides the out-of-this-world food, is the incredible service. The staff is welcoming, attentive, & genuinely makes you feel like family. Their hospitality is second to none.

Food was phenomenal. The owner was very social & talking to us for quite a while. Polite & prompt server who shared recommendations for travel in the area. The zucchini chips should be on the menu- so delicious! Great patio & ambiance. Overall highly recommend!
Salumi Vino was our local neighbourhood restaurant when we lived in Montreal, & we go back for dinner whenever we visit the city. Their eggplant parmesan is one of my favourite meals *anywhere*. The owner, Mario, is always there chatting with newcomers & regulars alike, & you can tell he really cares about your experience.
Salumi Vino is one of the best place i have encountered in the Old port of Montréal. Finest italian cusine paired with an imaginable variety of the tastiest wines. The service is impeccable & the owner personally makes sure that you are well taken care of since the minute you walk in.
