We have taken great care in the construction of this café in order to offer you a unique atmosphere, composed entirely of recycled materials and renovated second hand furniture. The Saint JJH&CAFÉ is the perfect meeting of retro and antique. Your eyes will easily get lost in the immensity of details that we have disseminated in this space where materials, furniture and objects were once destined to be abandoned, but now live a beautiful second life.
Saint JJH & Café comes across as a cozy, eclectic neighborhood gem with a warm, welcoming vibe and beautifully curated decor that blends greenery with vintage touches. The atmosphere invites lingering, with multiple comfy seating nooks, great music, and a sense of home whether working, chatting with friends, or simply relaxing. The menu features in house foods and a range of Greek pastries, cakes, cookies, and brunch options, with standouts like quiches, tiropita and spanakopita, and desserts that pair well with coffee. The coffee and beverages receive frequent praise, especially for creamy lattes and well balanced cappuccinos, though a few reviews note price concerns or occasional latte bitterness. Service is repeatedly described as friendly, attentive, and caring, with staff and owners seeming genuinely invested in the guest experience, while a minority mention tense interactions or value concerns. Overall, Saint JJH & Café feels like a beloved destination for studying or socializing, offering a warm, comforting setting, generous portions, and a distinctive vibe that keeps guests coming back.
I love the vintage vibe of the cafe. It's so cozy with original furniture that you can relax in & enjoy your coffee. Not to mention an amazing place for photo opps & always fun tunes playing. Every time I stop by, the staff has been really nice & accommodating. Prices are very reasonable. These days in Montreal, things can be really pricey - & you're not getting very much in return. These guys operate as a coffee shop, but give restaurant style customer service & a cool environment to hang out in.
This place has a vibe ... each seat is theme in itself ... it's surprising how charming a cafe can be by using old stuff ... Good coffee, very good service & excellent ambiance... Perfect place for an Intimate date, to read a book or work ! Well I won't work in such a place thought I had rather enjoy the coffee :)
I am very familiar with many coffee spots in Verdun, so when I heard of this coffee shop on TikTok, I knew I had to try it out. I went with my friend & we were not disappointed! I had a london fog & a crepe, both were amazing, & she had the espresso milkshake & almost got a second one because of how much she liked it! Great atmosphere & the decor is beautiful. Overall, strongly recommend :D
Who doesn't like it when a place lives up to the reviews? Super cozy atmosphere (extra bonus: playlist is jamming 90's & old skool RnB tonight)! Eclectic warm tea room deco to keep your eyes & mind stimulated. Perfect vibe for a productive Saturday night just working or chill night catching up with friends, especially since it is one of the only coffeeshop in the area opened until 8pm. Got a cortado. SMOOTH & milk was warm steamy & not frothy. Well done. They even have a crêpe station & good food selection. Will be back fo sho!

What a BEAUTIFUL, ORIGINAL & COZY place! I ordered a blueberries / lemon scone & a latte with coconut milk & everything was DELICIOUS You Must come & enjoy a good coffee in a beautiful environment
Great atmosphere, best brownie I have ever had at a cafe. Ever. The coffee was acceptable & a great accompaniment to another good baked good, the carrot cake. If you like warm light & slightly quirky vibes, you should try this place out.

I love this cafe! Slowly becoming my go to spot. My partner got the apple seasonal latte while I got a dirty espresso. Both beautifully made! A variety of different seating areas & couches. It is such a quaint spot to work or have a quick coffee with friends. The atmosphere is beyond amazing, the playlist last time I was there was AMAZING! You folks rock!
The girl who helped me was a true love. So nice. She even offered a new drink for my friend who didnt like her coffee. One girl however was dressed like she was going clubbing & literally trauma dumped & cried to a friend or customer for 1 hr.... & when her friend left she called someone else to cry about her entire dating history just to find out she works there...... she went back behind the counter. I was in disbelief. Girl talk to your therapist please & also stop with the monologues for everyone else to hear... energy vampire. 🥲🩷🙏 wishing u some love. Anyways doubt ill go back
I picked up a bag here from the application "Too good to go". However, there was a piece of glass in a croissant in the bag. While it is supposed to be extra food that needs to be "saved from being thrown away", safety & health hazards need to be considered, such as biting into or swallowing pieces of glass. On the other hand I really liked the atmosphere. Got myself a filter coffe. While I will return for the atmosphere, I will not return for the coffee nor for the "too good to go" bags.
My boyfriend & I discovered this charming vintage cafe in Montreal during our recent trip, thanks to Google Maps. Finding parking nearby was a breeze, as there were parallel parking spots just steps away from the cafe.
As we stepped inside, we were immediately captivated by the eye-catching decor. The plush vintage seating & coffee tables created a cozy & inviting atmosphere. It's truly a picturesque spot with so much to take in.
The coffee was delicious, & the savory crepes were a standout. This cafe seems perfect for couples, solo travelers, & even those looking for a quiet co-working space. Bringing a tablet or a book & enjoying a peaceful escape from the bustling city sounds like a fantastic idea.
While the hipsters fill out the coffee houses on Wellington, those in the know come here.
A lot of places try the eclectic, vintage look but this place has it down to a science, you can feel the soul in every nook, in every picture, in every object.
My tea & cookies were excellent, my +1's coffee was perfect.
