Having spent a lifetime of cooking & eating Indian food, studying it, travelling to India, & living in London for many years, where Indian restaurants are probably the most common place to dine out, I was delighted to find such an amazing restaurant right here in Dorval. Familiar but fresh flavours, authentic dishes on a varied menu which includes old favorites like Vindaloo, Madras & Jalfrezi, but also some bold chinese/India fusion options (very trendy in India right now). The food was truly excellent (try the dahi puri starter for an explosion of fresh, spicy flavor), served in a comfortable & lovely ambiance. Service was friendly & perhaps a little slow, but they were very busy, & the food was still fast to come out of the kitchen. They also have Cobra beer on tap! Which if you are nostalgic about Indian restaurants in the UK will be a draw card for you. Prices really quite reasonable. Can't recommend highly enough! Go there.
I am on visitor visa here & came here to see my students all over canada. I visited Calgary, Surrey, Vancouver, Abbotsford, mississauga, Toronto, hamilton & brampton, but the food I had at your restaurant was fantastic. I am surely gonna recommend my students to visit your restaurant & enjoy the taste. The indian girl served us so nicely. Thanks her for the hospitality that she showed us. God bless her. Excellent service, food & atmosphere. Highly recommend the Chicken Tiki. We brought a toddler with us & the high chair was ready at the table with staff making sure we had an enjoyable time.
OUTSTANDING! Hosted a my hubby's birthday party here & am so happy. It was the right choice by far. Inviting & contemporary decor , attentive service, warm staff, lovely background music, & gorgeous serving ware. & the food! Fresh, flavourful & abundant. The recommended appetizers were excellent & everyone thoroughly enjoyed their main choice. Hubby is a chef & was raving about good everything was. Exceeded my expectations which were already high. Well done!!
I come to Montreal from Florida once a year for skiing, & I always make it a point of having dinner at Sahib. Even though I am only there once a year, the staff & owner Rajiv make me feel like a regular. The food is exceptional & the atmosphere is very warm & I would highly recommend Sahib to anyone looking for an excellent Indian meal
The food was on a whole new level compared to all my other dinning experiences. If I could rate it above every other restaurant I already rated 5 stars I would. The food & service was exceptional. I would highly recommend any of the appetizers, they are unlike any that I have had in Montreal. Pro tip, try the Mango breeze as a dessert. It is made inhouse with fresh ingredients. Hands down my now favourite dessert!
Très belle découverte. C'est cozy, c'est beau, il y a de la bonne musique en entrant, on nous propose de nous débarasser de nos manteaux...bref, ça fait plaisir d'entrer là ! La cuisine est juste parfaite. On retrouve tout ce qu'on aime de la cuisine indienne, les sauces délicieuses, le petit kick épicé qui nous réveille, les viandes tendres...tout est frais, beau, savoureux. Un délice ! Les serveuses & serveurs sont jeunes, pas tous très expérimentés on dirait, mais tous vraiment gentils & agréables, très plaisants. On se sent comme des rois ! Toute cette qualité a un prix...43$ pour deux personnes, le combo végé !! En 2024, c'est juste une prouesse. Mais quelle joie de pouvoir manger si bien, dans un endroit si beau, pour un prix si raisonnable ! J'ai payé 91$ pour ma femme, notre fille & moi, taxes & pourboire inclus, & je suis reparti avec le sourire & une boîte de restants ! J'aurais certainement payé quasiment la même chose dans un Mike's ou un Boston Pizza pour manger une pizza cheap avec des frites & une bière..!! Je le recommande très sincèrement. Magnifique !
Birthday dinner was so special. They played my favourite song then played it's your birthday & sang happy birthday with dessert. Like in Pointe Claire the food was delicious & service on point. Recommend to all who love Indian food!

First time eating at Sahib in Dorval. What an amazing experience! The food was wonderful, service was super friendly & the ambience was great. Highly recommend!
We're no experts in Indian cuisine, but my wife & I really enjoyed the meal here. We ordered the recommended dishes on the menu (with the green heart): Chicken 65, Shrimp Mollée, Dhaba Chicken, & Lamb curry. The lamb was my favorite, everything else was delicious as well.
Pricing for main platters is a bit high imo, as there are really not many blocks of meat for ~$20. The $10 appetizer of Chicken 65 has 3x the quantity of protein vs a main platter.

I live an hour away from Sahib but it is worth the drive & more. I was first introduced to this restaurant a month ago by a friend, & immediately within a week I came back again with my family - I just couldn't stop thinking about the food. We had the aloo tikki & samosas to start, which were delicious & plenty filling on their own, but topped by a generous portion of equally tasty chickpeas, sauce & yogurt. At this point, I'd also ordered a mango lassi to wash it down, which was perfect - sweet & refreshing, but not overly sweet. I then had the thali which was well worth the price, & came with a bit of everything - tandoori chicken that was nice & juicy, lamb curry that was tender & rich, chickpea curry (one of my personal favourites), plenty of rice & naan (paired perfectly with both curries), & dessert to boot! Every one of the staff was incredibly friendly & welcoming as well, from the owner to the waiters to even the chef. One of the most comforting dining experiences I've had, & I couldn't recommend it more - I will definitely be coming back again soon!
