Sabrosa is described as a lively, well located spot in Old Montreal offering Mexican and Latin street food with a warm, festive vibe and a pleasant outdoor terrace. The reviews praise freshness and flavor across the menu, with standout dishes including birria tacos, Al Pastor tacos, fish and shrimp tacos, ceviche, guacamole, papaya salad, and corn on the cob, along with house hot sauces and generous portions; drinks are generally tasty though not always standout, and some guests find them decent value for the location. Service is often noted as friendly, attentive, and efficient, with some servers earning special praise, while a few visits mention slower service during busy times or occasional inconsistencies in execution. The atmosphere, decor, and opportunity for people watching are repeatedly highlighted as positives, making Sabrosa feel like a go to option for a relaxed lunch or dinner; a few comments point to a touristy vibe and price considerations, but overall the place is viewed as a solid choice with high memories of flavor and a lively setting.
We recently hosted a welcome dinner for all our friends at Sabrosa, & I cannot recommend this place enough! From the moment we booked the event, Carlito & the staff were incredibly helpful & accommodating, making the entire planning process a breeze. The team at Sabrosa went above & beyond to ensure that everything ran smoothly on the day of the event. The staff was exceptionally friendly & professional, timing the food service perfectly so that our guests were never left waiting. We got the birria, chicken, & fish tacos, guac, & churros. All the tacos were amazing, & the churros were phenomenal! Our guests were raving about the meal all night long. If you're looking for a place that offers fantastic food, top-notch service, & a warm, welcoming atmosphere, look no further than Sabrosa. They truly made our event special, & we can't wait to come back!
We had a fantastic time at the farewell of our best friend moving to Chicago - Ismail gave us impeccable service & made the time even more special. The rest if us in Montreal will be coming back to Sabrosa (some of us are return comers) on the condition that we can meet Ismail again. Special shoutout to the fish & birria tacos!!!!!

Finally got a girls weekend away with my bestie. Stumbled into Sabrosa due to the gorgeous, twinkle light lit patio because we decided we needed tacos. They squeezed us in despite having the tables reserved, as long as we could be out within a specific time period. When I say that Ismael provided us with both an incredible experience, hand made, custom cocktails, & a wonderful send off... it made our night. The staff is amazing. The atmosphere is phenomenal. You won't regret your visit to Sabrosa.
Ismael was amazing, so attentive & personable! He offered to make us custom cocktails to our liking & certainly delivered. Food was exactly as expected, would highly recommend!

Natália & Ismael were wonderful! They are so nice!!! I will came back many times to this place because the services are the best! The food is delicious!!!!! Thanks
