Sabriel gave an excellent service. She recommended the incredible house hot sauces that truly elevated our meal. Incredible food & incredible service. We had the calamari & birria tacos. The cocktails were also phenomenal.
Thank you Sabriel.
Ambiance agréable, service impeccable, les tacos birrias, fortement recommandé. Staff accueillant sans compter le chef de cuisine à qui je donne une étoile extra 6/5
TLDR; Excellent food quality, service & ambiance. Worth the wait (if any), don't be fooled by the touristic area! Jade was a fantastic server, always timely & on point & asking the right questions & provided excellent service. Chef Felipe, mucho gracias! Him & his team fully knocked it out of the park, excellent ceviche, enchiladas, birria & drinks! Definitely will be back
Very good service, very good food & a nice place that is kept clean. ? would reccomend trying the Birria Tacos as they were very good & came with a nice consommé when ? tried it
Everything we had was fantastic. Fish tacos & birria tacos were perfect. Staff was great, lady working the patio was hustling special shout out to her.
Great terrasse for some prime people watching in the heart of the Old Port! Birria tacos are a must! A bit pricey, but reasonable considering the location.
Positives- great ambiance & the staff were fantastic. Quick & friendly service!
Unfortunately, the food left a lot to be desired - mostly flavour. We had the Birria tacos & Al Pastor. While the meats are fresh, they were both completely lacking salt & any flavour whatsoever. Usually birria is on the spicier side, but there was just nothing there. For more flavour, I'd head over to Arriba Burrito or Tacos & Margarita instead.
I didn't enjoy my tacos Al pastor they tasted pretty plain. The birria ones were awesome so was the chocolate terrine cake.
Adorable restaurant. We got the guacamole, birria tacos, rice & beans & the two special drinks of the day. The drinks were lovely. The guacamole & the birria tacos were a little bit on the flavorless side, but were fresh. They bring out two different hot sauces & they were both very tasty. The rice & beans were yummy. I would definitely go back & try some other dishes next time.
An absolute gem in the heart of Old Montreal!
Sabrosa completely blew us away from the moment we walked in. Tucked inside a stunning historic stone building on Place Jacques-Cartier, the atmosphere alone is worth the visit - it somehow manages to feel vibrant & lively while still being warm & intimate. You can genuinely sense the soul of Mexico City, Lima, & Buenos Aires all woven together under one roof.
But let's talk about the food, because wow. The menu is a love letter to Latin America, & every dish reflects that passion. The ceviche was bright, citrusy, & absolutely fresh - easily the best I've had in Montreal. The birria tacos were rich & deeply flavored, & the nikkei-inspired touches throughout the menu added such a creative, unexpected dimension. Everything is clearly made with real technique & intention, not just thrown together.
The cocktail list deserves its own shoutout - the mezcal & tequila selection is impressive, & the bartenders clearly know what they're doing.
Service was warm, attentive, & genuinely enthusiastic about the food - exactly what you want. Our server walked us through the menu with real knowledge & care.
Whether you're coming for a date night, a group dinner, or just because you deserve something spectacular - Sabrosa delivers every time. Already planning our next visit. ¡Sabrosa indeed!
