Bien manger, c’est aussi manger sainement, à Ryu, les plats sont non seulement délicieux mais aussi nutritifs; réconfortant en bouche autant que pour le corps, c’est ça l’engagement Ryu. Pour nous l’experience « Manger Ryu » c’est aussi se soucier de votre alimentation.
Les critiques soulignent globalement une expérience de sushi de très haut niveau chez Ryu, avec des ingrédients frais, des plats joliment présentés et des saveurs qui se démarquent, et le poisson et les sushis décrits comme parmi les meilleurs de Montréal, tandis que l'atmosphère est perçue comme chic et cosy. Le service est généralement décrit comme attentif, professionnel et efficace, contribuant à une soirée fluide. Certaines visites évoquent des portions qui semblent petites par rapport au prix, du riz à sushi froid, et un service de l'addition parfois lent lors des soirées chargées, ce qui peut atténuer l'impression de rapport qualité-prix. Mr. Dj Malka, rocks my world. The quality of the sushi, the ambiance, the service, the music, hands down my fave go to for a girls' night out. Only this Ryu, this is the best Ryu in Griffintown. I have never been disappointed, this establishment is top notch & a staple joint in MTL.
I had a reservation at RYU this past Saturday night. I went with my wife & three other couples, we're visiting from NYC & everything from start to finish exceeded expectations.
The fish was some of the freshest I've had in a long time-every dish was beautifully prepared & full of flavor. They definitely prioritize quality ingredients.
The service was impeccable. The staff was attentive, professional, & made the entire evening feel seamless & enjoyable, their drinks are excellent-definitely worth trying a few.
If you're looking for a place in Montreal with a great atmosphere, outstanding food, & top-tier service, I highly recommend Ryu.

Amazing food honestly some of the best in Montreal. Everything was fresh, full of flavor, & beautifully presented. The atmosphere is stylish & cozy, & the service was excellent friendly, attentive, & fast.
You can really tell they care about quality & the whole dining experience. I'll definitely be coming back & recommending this place to everyone
I had an amazing night in Montreal! Isadora & the entire staff were exceptional-their warmth & attentiveness made the evening truly special. The food quality & service were both top-notch. I especially enjoyed the creative flavors & choices prepared just for me. The baked crab hand roll & Wagyu dumplings were outstanding; I highly recommend them to anyone looking to experience unique & delightful tastes. Thank you for a fun & memorable evening!
I had been trying several seafood places in Montreal & I can defined say that ryu has become my number 1 !!! The setting, the amazing staff & of course the amazing quality dishes that they have are top notch. Thank you so much for all the hard work you guys put it, it truly adds on for the perfect experience !!
Excellent food quality & superb service. Loved the upscale chill decor. Even appreciated the vibe provided by a nice selection of lounge music.

It's my favorite place, a hidden gem in Montreal . I wish they had it in nyc. You would think it would be easy to find something similar in nyc given the volume of restaurants, but I could never find anything that matched the vibe, price point & quality of the fish .

The price is quite high for the quality offered. The sushi, in particular, doesn't meet expectations in terms of freshness or taste. Not worth the cost.
It's supposed to be fine dining My boyfriend came here twice but it probably be our last time as well. Well at least we give chances to try. The bill was over 200$ Pro : The ambiance were great ! Very chic & stylish. We were outside at the terrace, highly recommend. Music was nice & cool. Cons : Staffs : very chic but not that friendly & honestly quite erogan. Food : Ordinary , quality doesn't meet expectations for the price. I am not sure if it was our luck or the food was really ordinary & quite disappointing. We don't mind the price if the food is good quality O-Toro 25 $ for 2 pcs. One of the sashimi piece was very chewy. At this price, I expect a good piece of fish that can be eaten the whole piece not just partially. I had better quality & price somewhere else. Scallop nigiri was just ok. The rice was just ok, the scallops were fresh. Salmon & tuna Tartare It was a good looking presentation dish, however the taste was nothing special. Scallop truffles roll 23$ I had a piece of something like a hard crum of quinoa ( maybe ) stuck in my tooth first bite of sushi. Besides that it was ok. Surf & turf roll was very DISAPPOINTING !! for 39$ , the Wagyu beef on the top part were VERY CHEWY ! I was surprised & wondered if that was the style of beef or it was just a mistake ? We ended up taking off the prices of wagyu , the rolls still very ordinary. White wine was ok for 19$ for very ordinary wine. Overall you pay for the cool ambience not the food. for that price range doesn't meet our expectations for food quality at all.
Amazing experience for Valentine's Day, the service was great & the ambience too. The server was amazing, catered to our needs & always present. I will however say that I'm removing a star because while the quality was top notch, paying 300$+ for a dinner is a bit overblown, even on Valentine's Day.
