Très bel endroit, propre & sympathique, la bouffe est généreuse & délicieuse, un énorme merci de recevoir aussi nos amis à 4 pattes, c'est très apprécié, seul petit bémol, j'aurais aimé qu'on puisse s'adresser à moi en français....

Had brunch at Ruby Café with my daughter & our 8 yr old Portuguese Water dog. Very pleasant ambiance, clean & nice decor. My meal was delicious (I had ''The Poché'') & my daughter really enjoyed her's too (The Smiley breakfast). & the mokaccino was the yummiest I ever had (very sweet)!. Fun to see all the happy dogs around us & dogs saying hello to each other before sitting at their table... Our Niky had the Woof Meatballs & was very satisfied!
I live on the South shore of Mtl so it was a 35 min drive, but I will be back for sure!!!
The place is so cleans & cozy, close to Canal Lachine. The food was SOOOOO good!!
Yumi had a great time meeting & playing with new paw friends.
The staff was very friendly & helpful, I'll definitely come back more often =)
Not great for big groups & definitely mostly for dog lovers. The food is great but ambiance a little lacking - feels like a animal store more than a cafe. To each their own.
Second time go there. Nice place to spending time with your fur baby. Your fur baby can get a cupcake which they love it so much. It is free last year but now it is charged $3. Recommend this place!

Bémol sur la réservation & la table qu'on vous attitre. Selon la personne qui nous a accueilli, lorsque vous réservez sur internet c'est à une « table » au bar que vous serez mis. (Ce n'est absolument pas une table...) Même si vous avez un chien & que cela est spécifié lors de la réservation.
Pour un premier accueil, j'ai vraiment trouvé ça très limite, & dommage.
Au téléphone personne ne répond, & personne ne vous rappel.
Vraiment dommage, je pense qu'ils peuvent totalement s'améliorer à ce sujet.
Mais : Concept sympathique.

Ruby is the only restaurant that allows dogs in the area & for that, they get an extra star. My waitress was great so the other star is for her. Sweet & did he job. As for the rest... They took soooo long to come see us at the door. It felt like a joke. Their pricing are just way out of line. Coffee was luke warm border on cold. The food is ok but for the price, you feel like the plate is empty. So it is what it is. I wish restaurants would stop making the prices so high. I get it, the pandemic was hard but come on. 21$ for just a sandwich on a plate? How can you explain that? & if you charge this much for food, be good with your service, like amazing.
I love Ruby!!! The waitress I had was sweet & amazing!
I would say the only negative comment is not about the place, the food & it's workers. It's about the dog owners who arn't very careful about their pets.
Honestly, the food is inventive & delicious, the decoration is beautiful & amazing staff!
Great food & atmosphere. Service was lacking. It took more than half an hour to just get greeted by someone. We also had a reservation but no tables were available & we had to wait around 15-30 minutes with our puppies. It took a long time to get our food & we didn't get any cutlery with it. I would give it a higher rating if it wasn't for the lack of service. Great experience otherwise.
