Really fun restaurant! It was the first time we've ever dined indoors at a restaurant establishment with our dog. She was welcomed on the chairs & the design was so well thought out for the dogs. There were chains to attach her leash, & the staff brought her water. We also bought her a woof loaf which she downed in 2 seconds flat. The staff loved coming by to see her & they were so loving to the dogs. Lots of areas for nice photo ops as well & the restaurant had an area at the back, selling many treats & dog goodies. Plenty of free parking which was appreciated & patio seating as well. There's also a mini fenced grass area for dogs to potty after & cleaning supplies in the restaurant itself to clean after the dogs. The food itself for humans was pretty good & very aesthetic. Lots of options for drinks too! We got the bagel & avocado toast which was so fresh! The smiley usually breakfast option was good / not the best but good enough! The grilled cheese was also very interesting - too dense for our liking but we all licked our plates clean anyways. We would def come back!! The pool & dog area at the back seem very interesting to explore next time.

I absolutely love coming to this place with my pup! The food is amazing & beautifully presented. I had the avocado toast, & everything tasted incredibly fresh.

The cocktails are also to die for - delicious & beautifully presented!

I've been to other dog-friendly places that unfortunately smelled like dogs or didn't feel particularly clean, but this place is completely different. It's spotless, stylish, & has a really nice upscale atmosphere.

I highly recommend it if you're looking for a beautiful place to relax, enjoy great food & cocktails, & spend some quality time with your pup. 🐾

Very nice place, very clean & not too loud. I loved the atmosphere. The food was good. I had a latte, it was delicious but could've been hotter & a bigger cup. Very happy with my visit.

wow! the food was awesome! the taratine was DELICIOUS & the matcha was amazing! Every table had a dog & they were even celebrating a dog birthday!!!! i will come back here every time i come to montreal. my dachshund devoured the meatballs. great service, clean restaurant, great atmosphere, & overall an amazing experience all around

Ruby cafe exceeded my expectations in every aspect! The staff & atmosphere are amazing & I cannot even begin on the food & coffee, absolutely delicious. We had the grilled cheese chorizo, the BLT ruby & an order of fries. Everything came out timely, warm & most importantly delicious. My wife & I spent a week in Montreal for our first anniversary & brought our 5 year old shih tzu along for the journey & of all the delicious places we tried, we ranked Ruby Cafe #1 on our list.
The cafe was also very clean despite there being many dogs when we visited. We will definitely be back in the future!

We had an amazing brunch at Ruby's café. The food was delicious & good portion. We really enjoy the ambiance, chill & clean. Our dog was really welcome to the café where she got to meet new fur friends as well, so it was perfect for her social enrichment! It can get crowded so my recommendation would be to book a table in advance. Service can be slow when crowded, just be patient, the staff is super kind!

During patio season, our pup is right there with us, but come winter there are so few options to bring him along for indoor restaurant meals… Ruby's really makes you wonder what the big deal with allowing dogs. This place is clean, chill & quiet (when we were there anyway), & super enjoyable!!
The food was great & our pup was thrilled that we ordered him the meatballs.
We were only in town for a few hrs, to pick something up, & Ruby Café was a highlight on that winter day.
