Nous visitons régulièrement Ruby Café avec nos deux bouviers bernois, & nous ne sommes jamais déçus! Nous avons pris un jus d'orange fraîchement pressé, expressos & cafés au lait, un bagel au saumon & un grill cheese chorizo - on parle ici de sandwich gourmets! Nos deux chiens ont mangé un dessert glacé pour toutous à la banane & beurre d'arachide & se sont régalés. Le service est rapide, les portions généreuses. Vous devez réserver, surtout pour le déjeuner/brunch en fin de semaine car tout est toujours réservé - pas de place pour les walk-in!
Basically I'd say the only thing this place has going for itself is the fact that it's dog-friendly.
When I came in & sat with my friend, we talked for about 20 minutes before someone finally came to take our orders. We mentioned that we had not been provided with menus, to which we were told that we had to use the QR code. Fine, but that would have been good to know when we first came in rather than 20 mins later.
So I'm finally looking at the menu & realize how very few options they had. Most of them consisted of some sort of grilled cheese. There were very few protein options.
My friend & I were given a single glass & a bottle of water. We mentioned we needed another glass as we were two people. It did not come.
Finally I ordered the French toast sticks, & again I asked for another glass.
The sticks were nice but it said they came with powdered sugar, & they in fact did not. Still, I had no cup to drink from. I asked a different waitress for it, & I finally got one.
My friend had also ordered a cupcake for her dog to come with our food. Another thing that never came. We asked two different waitresses for it. Still nothing. They were busy playing with the dogs. My friend eventually just had to get up & get the cupcake at the counter. At least the dog seemed to enjoy it, so there was that.
I would not go there again. It is severely overpriced, offers very limited options, & the service is one of the worst I've ever experienced.

Une belle découverte ! Service attentionné & chaleureux, on s'y sent tout de suite bien & notre chien 🐶 aussi. Mention spéciale pour les grilled cheese : fondants, savoureux, un vrai régal. À tester absolument !
A nice spot but the food & service were just okay. Mostly I felt a bit ignored by the staff. Edit: I went back for table service & honestly the experience was incredible. Staff was very responsive & quick. Food (pancakes & grilled cheese & fries) were very very good. Grilled cheese was covered in a syrup, so a little sweet, but still very good & savory! I recommend the golden latte as well!
Very pleasantly surprised! Good food options for humans & their pets. Clean & nice cafe. Definitely recommend for pet owners. We got a bowl & grilled cheese both were tasty. The espresso machine wasn't working & the server brought complimentary drip coffee.

Cool concept for a dog friendly restaurant, but way overpriced & food & service weren't great. We never received glasses for water, the grilled cheese sandwich was cold & uncooked (cheese wasn't melted). For a two people lunch it was 80 dollars. It's busy so reservations are needed a lot of the time.
Half the food was way too salty (fries, grilled cheese), veggies in the grilled cheese were not cooked enough... we had a reservation for 2:30pm & table was not cleaned but we were told kitchen was closing at 2:45pm no matter what (!), took 5mins to get the table ready.
We asked to box some of the food to take with us but as we were leaving we realized they took the boxes away while cleaning the table.
We're not against coming back, maybe we were too close to closing time to get the best service & quality.
This place will likely turn off some people because it's a very pet friendly place. Don't be fooled !! The food was amazing. Good portion sizes, very complimentary sauces & accompagnements. Particularly enjoy the Le Berger grilled cheese & the two toast plate with cheese & fresh fruits. Such a great find.

What a beautiful space. Loved that my kids could visit with doggies since we don't have one of our own. & the food was beyond delicious. We ordered the French toast sticks, doggie pancake, Berger grilled cheese & the ratatouille & each one was delicious. Love that the pancake also had a mix of buckwheat & regular flour along with some fresh toppings. Yum!
Fabulous place where you can have a gourmet lunch with your pooch at your side. The chorizo grilled cheese was really delicious! The strawberry rhubarb smoothy was good too - very natural & thick. Service was excellent. Place was clean & inviting. Lots of parking & easy to get to. I highly recommend it!
Atmosphere is nice & staff was friendly. My only real issue was the food was bland. I had the BLT & fries which looked amazing when they arrived at the table, but tasted of nothing. My husband had the grilled cheese, which tasted great.
