The only cafe I want to bring my dogs for their special days. Always great food, someone to greet us, beautifully decorated & a boutique to purchase treats & toys for our pets. Looking forward to our next visit in October.

Ruby Cafe provides such a rare & unique experience. It was fantastic to enjoy dining out with our pup in a positive environment, & see so many people enjoying a similar experience. The food & plating is also well worth the trip.
The food was delicious & the portions are big. My dog loved the meatballs from the dog menu, I had to order a second one. Love the fact that you can enjoy a cafe with your dog. They even get their own water bowl. Everything has been very thought & planned when designing the place.

It was delightful to have our pup be able to partake in a meal outing with us! Great Service! Healthy & tasty menu selections. I had a new item on the menu-Bailey's Crumble Parfait. Definitely recommend Ruby Cafe!
A must stop if you're a dog owner in Montreal! We are from PEI & came here since we wanted to take our sheltie Goose somewhere to eat with us at least once while we were in the city. I did not expect to be blown away by this place! When we arrived, we were directed to our table & our server brought us some water - but not just us humans, they also bring a bowl of water for your dog! I have to say, I was not expecting the food at a dog-focused cafe to be anything special, but the menu items all seemed carefully crafted for a quality cuisine experience. I had a hard time deciding what to get since it all looked good, but I chose the Poche Vege Ratatouille which exceeded my expectations & was super yummy. After we ate, I ordered Goose a pup cake which he gobbled down super quick so I can only assume that was tasty as well. While we were there, he made lots of small doggy friends & had a nap or two under the bench while we ate - the booth we were at had a place to attach your leash onto as well which was great so that we didn't have to worry too much about him wandering at the wrong times. The location is also a dog hotel so we saw several dogs checking in & out of their stay, & in the lobby they also have a bunch of treats, chews, & toys available for purchase. We had a lovely experience & I can't recommend this place enough & I wish we had something similar on PEI! We love taking Goose places with us & it was really nice to feel so welcome at Ruby Cafe MTL. ❤️
A beautiful cafe in a quiet area. However just be prepared for a barking chorus whenever new dogs enter the cafe. The food was good & yes as others have said that it's a bit pricey at about $20+ per dish. It's not a place to really do any work as the barking dogs may be distracting. It's a great place to hang out with your dog or with your friend that has a dog. There is even a doggy pool (inground)!

The staff here is very attentive & responds to the customers needs & made my experience here exceptional. Everything was served quickly & the waiters always had a welcoming smile. The chefs are so incredibly talented & the food here is so delicious.
Great place to have a doggy play dates! Lovely staff & good food as well. It's a lovely place to have your dog socialize as well! Highly recommend if you like being around dogs 🐕
Belle place pour accueillir les chiens. Toutefois, service très long & le personnel nous parlait en anglais? Plusieurs choix de repas, mais ils sont arrivés tièdes/froids.
Food was excellent, the staff was very friendly, we had a problem with the table they had assigned to us which was too small & the manager ended up giving us another table with plenty of space. We went for our dog's bday & she had the best time. She was so excited. They even brought us a pup cake with a candle so we could celebrate her. The dog menu was great, my dog had the meatballs & she loved it ! As for us hoomans, I'll say it again, the food was SO GOOD! It was a great experience we will surely go back.

Quelle surprise de voir qu'il s'agit d'un dog café. Nous avons eu la chance de bruncher autour de beaucoup de chiens dont 3 corgis adorables. Concernant la cuisine, bien que les plats mettent du temps à arriver nous nous sommes régalés. Le pancake est un pur délice. La sauce accompagnant les frites est aussi délicieuse. Si je retourne à Montréal je reviendrai avec plaisi
Great, beautiful place to go to with our furry baby. Unfortunately, the waiting time to get the food is very long. It took us 40 mins to get our food & our coffee, even when we asked to get the coffee first & as soon as it was ready. We had an early reservation & we were the fourth table to get occupied. The two waiters came to take our order & to give us out our food. We paid at the cashier. The coffee & the food was delicious. .
