Delicious fresh food. Everything starting from fries, to fish sandwiches is made on the spot. The classic fish sandwich is top notch. Clean place with open design. The main sandwiches are tasty but even the sides are as well. Recommended for anyone looking to eat fish, shrimps & calamari.c

We had a great experience at Rubian! The fries were crispy & delicious, & the fish sandwich was fresh & full of flavor. Everything was well prepared & served hot. My kids absolutely loved it too - definitely a family favorite now. We'll be coming back for sure!
My husband & I came here on our last day of being in Montreal. We were worried about coming in too early as they had just opened but as soon as we entered they greeted us so warmly with big smiles.
The fish sandwich was so delicious, & I appreciate the bread being buttered as well. The fish itself was perfectly crisp on the outside & flaky, & soft yet firm on the inside. You could tell the fish was really fresh! They definitely give you a perfect portion of fish for the sandwich. The sauce & coleslaw were excellent too. I was hesitant to have the cheese with it at first but it actually went really well with it, so I'm glad I got it as is.
The poutine was also great & the cheese curds tasted fresh.
As we left they asked us how everything was, if it tasted good & if we enjoyed. You can tell they really care.
Everything was amazing & the wonderful customer service made the experience even moreso. Our only regret is that we came here on the last day of our trip. But we will definitely be back next time we come to Montreal!

Great food! The shrimp are amazing, good size & well seasoned. The sandwich is actually fire! The best dish tbh was the soup! WOW I recommend the soup whenever. Only negative too much sauce. I recommend when ordering from them ask for light sauce! It's great but a little much! Takes away from the amazing ingredients. Overall would order over & over again.
A week ago i tried this place & i thought they deserve a good review.
The service was excellent, although it was 30minutes before they close, the worker was very patient cz i wasn't sure what to order since it was my first time there. so he offerd me many options to make it a good sandwich to eat.
The place is clean, packaging was very nice & the sandwich wrapped in a way you can eat it without making a mess. The food was fresh & very tasty.

Was definitely worth the drive!! We've been wanting to go ever since it opened We had the Fish sandwich which was awesome, bang bang shrimps ( spicy ), fried calamari & fish & chips with potato wedges. Fish & Shrimps was good. We felt like it was too much potatoes for 3 pieces of fish but if you're in a group, it's great for sharing Bang bang shrimps great as an appetizer. Super flavorful & spicy Fish burger YUMM will definitely be going back & bringing the family Very clean restaurant, the staff was extremely friendly & kind. They brought us our meals & drinks to the table. I already know what I'll be ordering next time
I DO NOT Recommend eating here its too expensive for nothing one sandwich is very small for an adult you have to buy 2 to feel full even the poutine is horribly small to be called big sized.THIS IS ONLY TO TRY ONCE.
Je suis allée chez Rubian pour la première fois aujourd'hui, quel délice! Nous avons commandé deux sandwich de filet de poisson, la fraicheur des ingredients est ressentie dans chaque bouchée! En combo nous avons choisi la fameuse poutine & encore une fois, tout un délice. Don't take my word for it, allez y goûter par vous-même, vous n'allez pas le regretter!
There's not a single item I wouldn't recommend on the menu. This is absolutely one of the greatest spots if your down for either a healthy shrimp bowl meal, or a nice fish fillet sandwich.
