Delicious fresh food. Everything starting from fries, to fish sandwiches is made on the spot. The classic fish sandwich is top notch. Clean place with open design. The main sandwiches are tasty but even the sides are as well. Recommended for anyone looking to eat fish, shrimps & calamari.c
Amazing food. Everything was fresh & super tasty. Best fish burger I've had & I loved the fries. I'm sure the poutine would be delicious.

This hands down is the best fish burger I've had in my life. I live in Ottawa, & someone I knew was in Montreal for a quick trip so I had them buy it for me. They got back to Ottawa pretty late at night so I was only able to eat the burger the following day. A quick toast in the oven got it nice & fresh, & was sooo yummy. Imagine what it would be like to eat it fresh & hot right away. 10/10 highly recommend. I'm sure their other items on the menu are equally just as amazing. Please consider opening a second location in Ottawa!!
The best fish fillet in Montreal without any doubt. The fish is fresh, the tartare sauce is well balanced, & the bun is perfectly toasted. I highly recommend!
We had a great experience at Rubian! The fries were crispy & delicious, & the fish sandwich was fresh & full of flavor. Everything was well prepared & served hot. My kids absolutely loved it too - definitely a family favorite now. We'll be coming back for sure!
I tried the Shrimp Bowl, & it was amazing. The shrimp was super fresh, the veggies were crunchy & tasty, & the sauce was phenomenal. The portions are huge, so I definitely didn't leave hungry.
The Shrimp Poutine was something else! Who knew shrimp & poutine could go so well together? The sauces were spot on, & the cheese curds were melty & delicious.
The staff were super friendly & made me feel right at home. Plus, the place has a nice, relaxed vibe. Prices are fair for the quality & creativity you get.
Whether you're into seafood or not, Rubian will change your mind. You've got to check it out I'm already looking forward to my next visit!
My husband & I came here on our last day of being in Montreal. We were worried about coming in too early as they had just opened but as soon as we entered they greeted us so warmly with big smiles.
The fish sandwich was so delicious, & I appreciate the bread being buttered as well. The fish itself was perfectly crisp on the outside & flaky, & soft yet firm on the inside. You could tell the fish was really fresh! They definitely give you a perfect portion of fish for the sandwich. The sauce & coleslaw were excellent too. I was hesitant to have the cheese with it at first but it actually went really well with it, so I'm glad I got it as is.
The poutine was also great & the cheese curds tasted fresh.
As we left they asked us how everything was, if it tasted good & if we enjoyed. You can tell they really care.
Everything was amazing & the wonderful customer service made the experience even moreso. Our only regret is that we came here on the last day of our trip. But we will definitely be back next time we come to Montreal!

Ordered through delivery. Food came fresh. Tried the bang bang shrimp/calamari thing first, they literally melted in my mouth. The fish burger was fantastic. Fresh, tasty, a nice bun, what more do you want. Also tried the poutine & it was good too. I live relatively close to this place & this could become a problem but it will be a good problem.

A week ago i tried this place & i thought they deserve a good review.
The service was excellent, although it was 30minutes before they close, the worker was very patient cz i wasn't sure what to order since it was my first time there. so he offerd me many options to make it a good sandwich to eat.
The place is clean, packaging was very nice & the sandwich wrapped in a way you can eat it without making a mess. The food was fresh & very tasty.
Good job. i will definitely come back.
Food was served hot & fresh. Tried bang bang shrimp & their burger "au fish" & both were very good. If you enjoy seafood & fish it is definitely worth a try!

Rubian Seafood Restaurant is the best for seafood in Montreal! The fish & chips, shrimp, & fish burger were outstanding fresh & flavorful. The owner was kind & generous, & the place was spotless. Highly recommend!
