Display Allpie(34) cake(15) dessert(14) slice(10) tarte(10) cafe(9) apple(8) crumble(7) to go(6) wrap(5) nice place(4) sandwich(4)Dry, over priced pie, watered down flavorless brownie milkshake, & was never brought any water. 2 pies & 2 drinks, 55$. Definitely not what it used to be.
So this is my second time trying the apple crumble pie & both times it was undercooked so I won't be trying that again but the mochamisu & strawberry short was good for a single slice
The service was very good. The pies were exceptional. Huge portions that you could really even share 1 pie for 2. The room could use a little personal touch, maybe lose some tables & make some lounge areas. But very clean & polished.
I came into this restaurant completely exhausted, with two toddlers who were having a really hard moment. From the second we sat down, Emily was absolutely amazing. She served us quickly, was incredibly patient, & showed so much kindness during a stressful time.
What really stood out was when my toddler started crying-Emily went out of her way to bring her a small piece of cake on the house, & it instantly turned the situation around. That small act of kindness meant so much to me as a tired parent.
Service like this is rare & truly appreciated. Thank you, Emily, for making what could have been a rough outing into a really positive experience. We'll definitely be back.
Had a great experience here tonight. Key lime pie was delicious, & the cafe latte hit the spot.. so much so, i had a second. The atmosphere is great for conversations with your friends, family or special someone.
Amazing experience! The service was excellent, & the atmosphere was warm & inviting. The pies were absolutely delicious - easily some of the best I've had! Great vibes all around. Definitely a place I'll be coming back to.
We used to go here quite often but have been away for a couple of years. Tonight we went for dessert & cappuccino. The pies are still amazing but the cappuccinos came in cups so small ( espresso size) & we got like 3 sips. All for a ridiculous price for almost nothing. We were told that the other cups were too big & clients complained that they there was too much milk in them. What BS. They're just greedy & giving you less for much more money.
The food is always delicious, but that night service was slow. We had a table of 8, all for a slice of cake or pie & it took them over 30 minutes to take our order.
Cool atmosphère because it was super busy on a Wednesday night. It felt like the right place to be.
The service was ok.
The pies were ok.
Pretty expensive.
high-end dessert restaurant. The staff is always super nice, but the service is so slow. The place is kept clean, & the pie is amazing. Having said this, it's kind of pricey for the food, & it's not revolutionary. You can get good veggie options, but in reality, you can get better for less. It's still a great place for dates & after-dinner pie. Just want to make it clear those last two photos so the drinks & those pieces of pie the bill with tip came to $55. It ain't cheap trying to impress girls anymore...
Went in to have a slice of their Mille Feuille pie/cake. It was delicious as usual & as I expected. Our waitress was lovely & kind. Never a disappointment & highly recommended
Went there for their pies. Unfortunately, most of them were already non available. So we got the blueberry & lime & the mokatisu. The first one was light, fluffy & not too sweet. It was pleasant to eat. The second one (mokatisu) was not what I expected from a chocolate tiramisu. It was a bit salty & heavy because of the cream cheese. I say their pies are very Americanized. However, I would possibly come back to try other ones, especially the fruits one like the apple crumble.
When for dessert on August 13, 2024 to the D.D.O. location, we arrived at 9:10pm. It took them ten minutes to seat us, took them another 20 minutes to bring us a dessert menu, took them another 10 minutes to take our order & it took them 20 minutes to bring 2 pieces of cake & one coffee. I wanted to leave after the initial 10 minutes, there was no one in the restaurant, if there were 15 people that max. It seems every time I go there the service gets worse, one thing for sure, the last time August 13th was the last !!!!
Always a nice place to go for lunch. They lost a few menu items over the years, but still have a great selection. Still the best cakes & pies though!
