2026: tiramisu cake was good but very sweet. The southwest sandwich was delicious.

2023-04 experience: Easter egg pie was
delicious, but it was their last piece & it was only Good Friday afternoon. caramel fudge cheese was also great. Takeout service was efficient & friendly.

General: Great place for the pies & specialty beverages not so much for the food or cocktails. One of the few late evening places in the West Island. Definitely recommend the raspberry fudge cheesecake & the Key Lime Pie. Very heavy but worth every bite.

I find the slices of cakes are getting smaller & smaller every time I visit.
They still taste great though.
My absolute favorite is the blueberry lemon shortcake.

I always get cakes here & never had an issue , got one today & it wasn't fresh. It was very hard & dry . Very disappointed . Waste of 40$ 😔

Awesome cake, horrible service. Came twice in a week to ask for iced black coffees politely. The waitress at the counter is always unhappy, & makes me feel like I'm bothering her by ordering. Both times my coffee was lukewarm, no ice in it & a generous tip did not help to get a better attitude. Girl, if you don't want to make ice decafs, just say you don't do them? Like why you punishing me because you hate your job? Idk that's just lame. Sad because the cake is good but i feel stupid to spend money there when I'm treated like that.

I came into this restaurant completely exhausted, with two toddlers who were having a really hard moment. From the second we sat down, Emily was absolutely amazing. She served us quickly, was incredibly patient, & showed so much kindness during a stressful time.
What really stood out was when my toddler started crying-Emily went out of her way to bring her a small piece of cake on the house, & it instantly turned the situation around. That small act of kindness meant so much to me as a tired parent.
Service like this is rare & truly appreciated. Thank you, Emily, for making what could have been a rough outing into a really positive experience. We'll definitely be back.

BAD RECIPE CHANGE!!!

I am extremely disappointed with the strawberry shortcake. This was something my friends, family & I used to genuinely enjoy, but the recent change has completely ruined it. The taste has clearly changed & not for the better. The cream on top now has odd hints of coconut & banana, the sponge cake was dry & barely tasted like vanilla, & the overall texture & flavour were unpleasant.

The only part that seemed unchanged was the filling. There was no notice of a recipe change, if only I had known, I never would have ordered it. Unfortunately, I won't be returning.
