Ce soir c'était notre première fois au rib n reef & nous n'avons pas été déçu de notre expérience. L'accueil, le concept était excellent mais que dire de la nourriture , la salade césar préparé à votre table la côte de boeuf (tout simplement la meilleure jamais manger) & le gâteau au fromage wow. Mention spéciale à notre serveur Patrick qui a été formidable il a su nous conseiller a merveille & Kyle le gérant à veillé à ce que tout soit à point . Déjà hâte d'y retourner.Voir plus

Mid week dinner at the Rib N Reef. Service could have been a bit better. If it wasn't for the very bland & dried escargot entrée the dinner was otherwise excellent. Ironically today's Montreal Gazette has an article about abusive tipping. Rib N Reef fits the bill. They suggest you to tip on taxes.Voir plus

Very overpriced. $46 for 2 crab cakes. $21 for 1 piece of shrimp. Ordered steak. Was very bland tasting. So i had to put sauces on it to digest. Would not recommend at all. I have had better steaks at fairly priced restaurants with more flavors. They have valet parking, service was good, environment was nice. I had the best pina colada ever here. Crab cakes & fries were also good. But for the price i really expected more. Flavor of steak really needs an improvement.Voir plus

Rib & reef overall was good! The atmosphere was great. Table side service ceaser salad & Tatar which adds to the atmosphere. Overall service was exceptional however it took a long time to get all our food. Steak was good & cooked perfectly. Not the best steakhouse in Montreal but an overall a good experience nonetheless. You can get something comparable at a much cheaper cost. There is also a cigar lounge upstairs which adds to the atmosphere.Voir plus

The best Rockefeller oysters & shrimp cocktail I've ever had. Period. Succulent charred rib steak done to perfection. A plethora of steakhouse classics for your indulgence. An indescribably delicious homemade millefeuille. PK's game is among the best in the business. I've had the privilege of dining in some of the best steakhouses across North America over the past 30 years: Toronto, Chicago, Montreal, New York, Boston, Vancouver, Calgary, Dallas, Kansas City, Philadelphia, Nashville, Las Vegas, San Francisco, Los Angeles, etc....this is among the best of the best IMO.Voir plus

Onion soup was a disaster.very salty & not a great cheese.Soft drinks over priced at $6.00 a drink. Tea $5.00. Sides over priced for quantity. Baked potato & fries enough for two people but not worth 32 dollars. Roast beef was very tasty but the amount was small for a 14 oz portion. Veal was tasty but pasta needed more cooking. This place comes out of a Goodfellas movie set. Dark, damp & very old school capo hang out. So much staff yet the service was lacking. We sat down & 15 minutes later no menus. I had to go to the hostess to get some. The food was mediocre at best but super expensive that turns out to be a ripoff. They actually asked us if we wanted bubbly or tap water. Tap water, can you believe an uber expensive restaurant cannot give you some filtered water rather than TAP water at your table. What a turn off. I will never go back here nor recommend anyone.
