This place absolutely lives up to the hype. Make sure you book ahead because it's always busy-& after going, I completely get why.
From the moment we walked in, everything felt polished but still comfortable. The staff were knowledgeable without being pretentious, & they took the time to walk us through the menu & give solid recommendations, which I really appreciated.
The seafood was the real highlight. You can taste how fresh everything is right away. We tried a few different dishes & every single one was on point-perfectly cooked, well-seasoned, & beautifully presented without being over the top. Nothing felt rushed either, which made the whole experience feel relaxed & worth it.
It's definitely more of a'plan ahead' kind of spot, but honestly, it's 100% worth making a reservation for. Great food, great service, & just an all-around solid dining experience. I'll definitely be back.
I was very disappointed I had reserved with manager Mr Miled for main room near whine cellar table for 20 people for April 12 at 6pm everything was confirmed I had told him I want groupe menu for 75$ a person me & my mom got here 5h50pm staff told me my table in main room with people wasn't reserved they had put me in the private room that I asked not to be in for my birthday I wanted to be with atmosphere of resto crowd not in private room also my mom had deliver flower & ballons at 3 pm spoke to them asked them
To place them on my table they told me & my mom they weren't told anything they had no time to do it & my own table wasn't ready or done they started placing all the utensils at 5h50 10 min prior people started arriving only one waiter was serving my whole table of 20 people once everyone was here waiter poor guy working all alone without assistance taking care of my whole table asked me what food should I bring even the food he wasn't aware that I had chosen the 75$ groupe menu basically all my requests I had asked from manager Mr miled were ignored he was absent that day staff & manager Gabriel that day wasn't aware of anything of my birthday not even accommodate me in the room of la sirene that I wanted not even the menu I wanted ridiculous I was mostly stressed for my birthday service my waiter was good but didn't even know the menu I had chosen with manager Miled he asked me what would u like to order wasn't aware of the groupe menu I told him are u serious u don't know what menu I want he said no one told him nothing I don't leave usually bad reviews coz we had excellent time for my company party there but my birthday it was a must to give me the table I had reserved one month in advance & not put me in a private room I didn't want !!!!' & worst not even prepare my table or put gallons & flower at arrival service ignorance of clients needs put one waiter for our whole table only & making him run around poor guy & me I was really not happy being in the private room if I wanted something private I wouldn't be going out to resto I asked not to be & they assured me prior they would give me in the main room my table it was not respected upon arrival I had no choice to accept being in private room with my tables on prepared ballon decoration not placed this not something I forgive specially out of all resto I chose to do my birthday here I expect people to take clients requests seriously this how u lose clients

This place is in a league of its own. In a beautiful space they create a food experience that makes a enjoyable meal. From the mezzé to the seafood, everything is excellent. They also have a top notch Maitre D who effortlessly greets you & ensures that all goes well.
Nourriture pas à la hauteur.
Peu savoureux. Poisson décevant surtout pour du flétan qui ressemblait davantage à de la morue. Service lent & peu chaleureux. Pas à l'écoute du client.
I've been going to La Sirène for over 20 years & it has never once disappointed. This restaurant is truly exceptional & has become a real Montreal institution.
The food is always outstanding - incredibly fresh, beautifully prepared, & remarkably consistent. Their fish market is easily one of the best in Montreal, offering exceptional quality seafood every time.
What also makes this place stand out is the service. Many members of the staff have been there for years, & they are incredibly attentive & well-trained. They genuinely remember their clients, their preferences, & their needs, which makes every visit feel personal & welcoming.
The owner is also very present, friendly, & attentive, which contributes greatly to the warm atmosphere of the restaurant.

Wow!!! Best meal I have had in for ever! Delicious food. So fresh. Excellent service!! I heard that this restaurant was excellent & so I travelled from the south shore to try out. It was so worth it. I found my new favourite spot! I highly highly recommend this place. Thanks La Sirène for an awesome experience!
La Sirène de la Mer is an absolute gem for seafood lovers. This is an authentic Lebanese restaurant that truly captures the rich flavors & traditions of Lebanese coastal cuisine. The fish is incredibly fresh, perfectly seasoned, & beautifully presented. The grilled shrimp & whole sea bream were tender, juicy, & full of flavor. The mezze selection is fresh & generous, adding even more authenticity to the experience. The service is warm, attentive, & welcoming, making you feel like family from the moment you walk in. The atmosphere is charming & relaxing. Highly recommended for delicious, fresh seafood & genuine Lebanese hospitality.

Réservation à 14h, les serveurs étaient focus sur le dressage de leurs tables pour le soir, complètements indifférents à nous. On a attendu extrêmement longtemps pour être débarrassés de nos plats, bref il était déjà 15h30 on a donc pas souhaité prendre de dessert.
Very professional service, classic- not often you could see it these days. Place to go for very good seafood, wide variety. Might be too loud sometimes
