Thank you to the door waitress that welcomed us with French. 🤭 Thank you for welcoming us into this culinary fantastic eatery. The food was phenomenal, offering a swift yet deeply satisfying experience. The charbroiled chicken sandwich was a masterpiece, perfectly grilled with just the right amount of char to enhance its flavors. The roast beef melt was another star, melting in the mouth with its tender, juicy layers, complemented by the rich cheesy goodness. & let's not forget the showstopper - the Oreo cheesecake. It was an absolute revelation with its creamy filling & crunchy Oreo base. This place isn't just great; it's a must-visit culinary destination in Montreal! 😙 Forgot to try the Original Cheesecake!!!😳😲. Will have to travel to Montréal again for it.View more

We'll be back...
I've walked by this place many times, but today decided to stop in on a whim.
We were instantly impressed with the old time decor & layout. It is cozy, classy & clean.
We were greeted right away & were seated with no delay.
The waiter was polite & communicated well. (There when you need him & not when you don't.)
I had the Reuben Sandwich & my wife the Cho Chop poutine. They came quickly & were delicious, with ample servings. (Doggie bag required)
Will have to return to sample more of the menu.View more

Delicatessen classique, où on a cependant misé sur un décor plus élaboré que dans le deli habituel. Le sandwich à la viande fumée était bon, mais ça ne casse tout de même pas trois pattes à un canard. Les frites industrielles gâchaient le tableau. Par contre, la salade de chou était bonne, bien fraîche, & la portion était satisfaisante.
À signaler, le service à notre table était assuré ce midi par une jeune femme à la bonne humeur éclatante & contagieuse. De précédentes visites me permettent de conclure que c'est un trait qu'on aime retrouver chez le personnel, ce qui aide beaucoup à rendre la visite agréable.
Bref on va là parce que c'est bien situé & relax. La cuisine est honnête & les ingrédients sont de bonne qualité. Si on ne cherche pas l'expérience gastronomique, c'est un bon endroit pour un déjeuner simple & rapide.
