Review Summary

Resto Capucine is widely praised for its warm, intimate ambiance and handmade Italian fare, with standout pizzas and pastas, a burrata starter, and a pistachio creme brulee that many call a must. The wood oven and fresh housemade dishes are repeatedly highlighted for quality and generous portions at fair prices, and the overall value is seen as strong. Service is described as attentive, friendly, and accommodating, with guests noting a family-like atmosphere that makes celebrations and small groups feel welcome. The restaurant is often described as a hidden gem and a great option for a special occasion or a casual night out, with a cozy vibe that can be lively at times. Some mentions of noise and occasional delays during busy moments exist, but the consensus remains that the experience is consistently excellent and that many would return.

Wonderful experience! Great cocktails & wine selection.

We ate at Capucine on a Thursday night & took advantage of their 50% off on Pizza. The pizzas were great. Would I spend full price on the pizza here, no - there aren’t enough choices.

Their Mortadella & Margherita were our favorite. The other pizzas we tried were okay (sausage was average & Capriciosa was too heavy on the mushrooms).

Both times I’ve come, the wine I asked for by the glass was not in stock. I took a glass of one of their other Chardonnay’s they only sell by the bottle & for $15 Gianni barely filled it. When I compare what a 15$ glass of wine looks like in other restaurants, it was a turnoff.

The polenta fries were tasty but disappointing (they were not fries).
The arancini were tasty but bite-sized & even though you get 8, price isn’t justified.

Definitely a must try on a Thursday
