Le jeudi 18 juin 2026 avec mes amies nous avons organisé la demande en fiançailles d'une autre amie. Quelques jours avant, nous sommes venus demandé au restaurant s'ils étaient en mesure de nous réserver une table, & un coin dans le restaurant pour organiser la demande en fiançailles. Nous avons été chaleureusement accueillis par le patron de l'établissement, Monsieur Steve, qui a immédiatement accepté de nous donner l'espace du deuxième étage pour faire la demande. Nous sommes revenus le Jour-J pour décorer la place & nous avons été gentiment accueilli par le serveur Bryan qui nous a accompagné tout le long de notre organisation. Il a fait en sorte de nous mettre à l'aise & a été là pour répondre à chacune de nos questions/requêtes. Le lieu a été nettoyé dépoussiéré & nettoyé avant que nous passions à la décoration mais également à la fin de la demande de fiançailles, toute la décoration a été retiré pour nous. Avec la chaleur, nos vas & viens pour décorer, de l'eau fraîche a été mis à notre disposition par Bryan pour nous hydrater. Nous avons reçu un service au delà de nos espérances grâce à Bryan & bien sûr, Steve, qui nous a permis de faire cela dans son établissement. Je veux remercier Bryan pour son professionnalisme, sa générosité & sa bonté. Ce n'était pas un simple service mais une marque d'hospitalité qui a rendu la demande en fiançailles facile à organiser & mémorable pour les fiancés. Le lieu était magnifique & à la fin, les fiancés ont pu manger un bon repas, en tête à tête, dans un coin calme & sans bruit. Un grand merci au restaurant Zoëlle & son équipe, que je recommande à tous.
This a great restaurant that has everything you would want. The staff is superb & professional, the decor is elegant & the food was exceptional. The manager was awesome to come out & talk to us which is above & beyond our expectations. The octopus was such an amazing combo of flavours, the sushi was top notch & I heard the steak was cooked to perfection. I will definitely come back for a lunch or dinner & I recommend this spot for anyone & everyone. They really did a superb job & wish them all nothing but success. Cheers!!

Visited Restaurant Zoelle during a recent trip to Montreal from Texas, thanks to a local friend's recommendation. The meal was absolutely delicious-packed with flavor-& the service was truly above & beyond. The ambiance is stunning; you can tell there's real passion behind this place. The owner's personal touch made the evening even more special. Highly recommend for anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience!
Nous y sommes allés plusieurs fois, mais la semaine dernière, nous avons décidé de retenter l'expérience. C'était le week-end du Grand Prix de Formule 1. La nourriture était bonne, mais l'attente était longue. Nous avons partagé le pieuvre & les choux de bruxelles en entrée, puis les'short ribs' & le saumon blackened. C'était absolument délicieux ! La serveuse était très gentille & attentionnée (j'ai oublié son nom). Nous sommes revenus pour goûter les côtelettes d'agneau, la salade César, la focaccia maison, la piccata & les pâtes aux fruits de mer. Un grand bravo à la nouveau chef! Juste incroyable ! Je recommande ! La purée de pommes de terre est magnifque!
I truly cannot emphasize enough how unprofessional their manager, Dave, was. Certainly a crowd pleaser, he was clearly more interested in being perceived as a fun person than actually doing his job. He would avoid our table & instead spent over 15 minutes at one chatting when it was clear the restaurant was not under control. Tables sat un-bussed for over 30 minutes. The waiters were running around like chickens with their heads cut off & dropping glasses every 10 minutes. We had made a reservation over a month ago for 9 pm & did not see food on the table until 10:30 pm. When we were eventually seated after 30 minutes of waiting, it took an additional 20 minutes for us to even spot our waiter & request water for the table. As for the cavatelli, I DO NOT RECOMMEND. It was oversalted, & the meat was dry. I have never returned a dish before in my life, but it was that bad. I am willing to give them the benefit of that doubt that it was an off night. The manager, Dave, refused to take it off our bill because we had taken a few bites of it, & instead took of 50%. I have worked in & dined in fine-dining restaurants my entire life, & this is the first time they haven't taken it off the bill. Overall, we will not be returning, & I don't think it's worth the TikTok hype. Awful experience, & the staff, especially Dave, needs to be retrained or, even better, fired altogether.
I was really disappointed with my experience at Zoelle's. We waited nearly two hours & never received our full meal. It took about an hour just to receive the appetizers - burrata & dip - which was frustrating given how long we had already been seated.
Service was extremely slow, & there were long stretches where no waiter came to check on us, provide updates, or offer any explanation for the delay. At one point, a person who appeared to be unhoused came into the restaurant & sat down nearby, & while I understand these situations can be sensitive, the staff did not seem to address the disruption or check in with guests.
The Gentleman's Gin cocktail was also disappointing & not enjoyable. Overall, the experience felt disorganized, inattentive, & not worth the time or money. Unfortunately, I would not return or recommend this restaurant based on this visit.
Honestly, it's been a very long time I had a great dining experience in the downtown area & Zoelle totally delivered it. Nelson, Jana & the rest of the staff were truly attentive & gave me & my friends an amazing service. I recommend the salmon tartare for sure!
Will surely come back in the summer!
We had such a wonderful time at Zoelle. Nelson, the manager, truly elevated our visit, he took the time to share the owner's background & explain the concept behind the restaurant, which made the whole experience feel even more special.
The food was absolutely delicious, the bar was spotless & inviting, & the entire restaurant is simply beautiful. They're also open for lunch now at very reasonable prices, which is a great bonus.
Another plus: there's valet parking available at the Sheraton right next door, which makes the whole outing even more convenient.
& I have to mention the espresso martini… easily one of the best I've had. 😍
