Le restaurant offrait un spécial table d'hôte qui fut apprécié. Par contre, on nous a chargé 50$ pour de l'eau en bouteille sans nous proposer de l'eau régulière. Ayant grandi à Montréal, ce fut un choc pour moi. On m'a proposé un remboursement rétrospectif mais cela n'a jamais été fait au final.
Absolutely terrible. They get people to work during special events (aka Valentine's Day) & then don't even pay them for it. Imagine a restaurant like that taking advantage of a person just trying to pay their bills? Take your money elsewhere, they're greedy enough & don't need more.
The Best restaurant the nigiri's are phenomenal. I've been dreaming about them ever since I tried them. The service is amazing & very detailed oriented! & the atmosphere is great!
Honestly, it's been a very long time I had a great dining experience in the downtown area & Zoelle totally delivered it. Nelson, Jana & the rest of the staff were truly attentive & gave me & my friends an amazing service. I recommend the salmon tartare for sure!
Will surely come back in the summer!
We had such a wonderful time at Zoelle. Nelson, the manager, truly elevated our visit, he took the time to share the owner's background & explain the concept behind the restaurant, which made the whole experience feel even more special.
The food was absolutely delicious, the bar was spotless & inviting, & the entire restaurant is simply beautiful. They're also open for lunch now at very reasonable prices, which is a great bonus.
Another plus: there's valet parking available at the Sheraton right next door, which makes the whole outing even more convenient.
& I have to mention the espresso martini… easily one of the best I've had. 😍
Highly recommend - Zoelle is a gem.

Nous sommes allés pour la Saint-Valentin & nous avons malheureusement été très déçus par la nourriture.
L'ambiance était belle & agréable, ce qui a rendu la soirée plaisante de ce côté-là.
En revanche, les plats n'étaient pas à la hauteur de nos attentes. Cela ne nous dérange absolument pas de payer cher pour un bon repas, mais dans ce cas-ci, le prix nous a semblé excessif par rapport à la qualité & à l'expérience culinaire offertes.
Malheureusement je ne recommande pas ce restaurant
1h pour recevoir les entrées, musique trop fortes, 30min pour recevoir de l'eau quand demander, nourriture médiocre, & pour bien finir, on a décider de partir après presque 2h car les plat principaux n'étaient pas arrivés, & la serveuse c'est quand même tipper sur le souper sans nous le dire, ou sans même nous laissez le choix d'en donner.
This is the only 1 star review I have ever felt compelled to write. They were extremely overbooked & their food was overpriced, neither fresh nor anything extraordinary. Got charged 80$ for a plate of hummus & 2 shrimps with a tortilla. Very unpleasant experience. Service was slow, & it took us around 2h to get served with the main plate (table of 2) although we ordered as soon as we sat & we had reserved the table beforehand. It's also crucial to mention that the menu was already prepicked for us as it was a Valentine's Day special. It took us 30 minutes to get served with water. The food & the service were so underwhelming we did not stay for the whole 3-course meal & decided to leave after the entree. I would not go to this restaurant for any occasion, let alone a special occasion like Valentine's. We also got charged for the water?
Very memorable Valentine's day meal. Beautiful presentation & amazing flavors! I had a delicious lamb meatball amuse-bouche, incredible crudo & sushi. For dessert, I could not believe my luck when they brought a plate of miniature treats: a financier, a fruit jelly, a macaron, a chocolate truffle, & a napoleon. All were excellent. What a lovely way to finish a perfect meal.
