Display Allfried rice(14) chinese(14) chicken(13) général tao(10) rice(9) fried(8) fresh(6) shrimp(6) generous(5) beef(5) rapide(5) sauce(4)I had the Black Bean chicken. Sauce was savory, chicken was tender & lots of vegetables. As well, I enjoyed a hot & sour soup with generous pieces of tofu & bamboo shoot. The spring roll was ok-I think it can be better. I also ordered a soda & steamed rice. My bill before taxes & tip was $28.97
I just recently tried this place again after a couple of years & it's still very disappointing. Fishy tastes where there isn't any fish, The weirdest General tao sauce that i can't even explain, rice was completely tasteless…Not to mention they put the general tao upside down in the bag so everything was drenched in sauce. It's also expensive. There are some things that arn't that bad but it just so happened that everything in my last order was.
The atmosphere seemed fine, although I ordered take out, I was in & out. But the food was delish. We ordered general tao & orange beef. The orange beef was a little light on the orange, however the beef & chicken pieces were fresh & thickly cut. You could tell it is homemade. The sauces equally tasted homemade & light. You did not bloat after eating it. The steamed rice was cooked perfectly, it wasn't crunchy (as it sometimes can be if overcooked or're-used'). All in all, a very good experience. We will be back to dine-in for sure :). Thank you!
The place is simple & unassuming. They serve real cantonese wonton (with shrimp filling). The cantonese chow mein is as close to the real deal I have found as of yet, the noodles are well done it, the sauce tastes right, theres plenty of protein (squid, de-tailed shrimp, char xiu pork, chicken), & while the vegetables aren't what I hope for (bok choi, water chestnuts, bamboo sprouts, gai lan, shitake mushrooms), the americanized selection they've made makes sense (none of that carrot/onion/bell pepper/coli-flower stuff). The imperial roll was good, but I wasn't too keen on the stuffing. Overall, great place, good variety, as close to an authentic cantonese experience you can find nowadays.
Good food. Very generous with portions & with the sauces. Service was very fast & efficient but not very friendly. Everyone looked a little gloomy
