I'm editing my review. After coming back a couple of times, I've noticed several improvements. The quality of the plates has improved, especially the ones based on seafood. Ceviche is always good & Pisco Sour is the best I've tried in a very long time. Propably the most common plates are not so good (I don't like Jalea or Lomo Saltado here) but other plates are delicious (like Chupe, Pariguela). The desserts have also improved, I recommend the picarones. The prices are still a little high, but they're similar to other Peruvian restaurants in Montreal.

Une expérience incroyable!
Accueil chaleureux & belle ambiance.Les plats étaient délicieux.Le service était impeccable de la part de Happy Boy, un serveur qui a su bien répondre à nos attentes avec sa belle énergie & sa bonne humeur.Je recommande vivement ce restaurant à tous ceux qui cherchent un endroit exceptionnel.Nous reviendrons sans hésiter.

Nous étions un groupe de 25 personnes. Il n'y avait pas tous les choix au menu. Le repas était bon mais le temps de service était TRÈS LONG. Nous avons reçus nos plats près d'une heure plus tard.
Les serveurs étaient très gentils.
Je recommande pour un groupe plus petit.

Les plats au menu semblaient dispendieux mais ca se justifie par la générosité des portions. Nous avons vraiment apprécié notre expérience culinaire au Sol y Mar. Mon sauté au poulet était excellent. Recommandé!

Amazing restaurant to taste Peruvian sea food & barbecue meat. People are welcoming. Excellent client service provided by waitress. I recommend Soly Mar foods.

WOW! Was this just an off day ? This is not the same Peruvian cuisine that we loved so much. Sorry to say, but the magic is gone. My medium rare Rib steak had some OK areas, but most was tough & over-cooked! Wife's Mussels were so small, that actually there was nothing to eat! The $21 ceviche (we thought it was as an appetizer) was actually a cup of "Tiger's milk" with a few pieces of fish. Very disappointed to pay $100 for this & walk away still hungry. Not recommended !

Great service, charming atmosphere, & well prepared & presented food. Also for the dish I had (ribeye steak), it was very affordably priced, & delicious! Highly recommend. The margaritas looked perfect, I'll be coming back for one of those!

The food here is amazinggggg. Me & my family have been going here for years. The seafood options are really delicious & you get a lot for what you pay for. It can be a little loud sometimes but that's just their vibe! Definitely recommend.

One of my favourite restaurant, serves real Peruvian food at affordable prices, the portions are big because no one likes to still be hungry after a restaurant meal. I definitely recommend it to literally everyone because you need to try it, everything here's is good, I've probably tasted 15+ of their meals & they're each as good as the other one. Good ambiance, fair prices & delicious cocktails plates.

Amazing discovery, we had the Ronda Criolla, & I would recommend that if you want to share with someone & try different things, all typical. It had causa, lomito saltado, antecucho, arroz con pato, & another dish of chicken with saffron (I don't remember the name). I'll definitely be back

Très mauvaise service le serveur étai très lent & très impoli! La nourriture était froid & la viande mal cuite en plus le repas c'est très cher! En fin je ne recommend pas cette restaurant.
