Really upsetting service :( It took 10 minutes to even take our order (& we had to ask), & 45-50 minutes for them to serve us. They were friendly & kind to all tables except ours. There were people who came long after us & finished & left before we even got our food. Every table was getting complimentary dinner rolls/bread except us, & the man serving was actively avoiding looking at us. A very bizarre experience!
Food was just okay. When we were done, they took away our plates hurriedly & gave us the bill in under a minute. It was very strange after they made us wait so long but wanted to get us out the door ASAP.
We also had reservations, but got very crowded seats at the edge.
Very bad experience, would not recommend at all!
Had a really nice time here. The place is super cozy & feels very warm. Service was quick & polite, we didn't have to wait long for food at all. I loved my pizza (yum!), & even though my husband thought his was just okay, we both enjoyed the meal. Good option for a quiet, casual dinner.
Near one of Montreal's main avenues, you'll find this small Sicilian restaurant. I enjoyed a plate of spaghetti alle vongole, which was very flavourful & well prepared. I finished the meal with a glass of Frangelico over ice. Overall, a lovely experience with attentive service & a relaxed, pleasant atmosphere.
It is a small Sicilian restaurant in downtown Montreal. I was pleasantly surprised by how flavourful the food was & how friendly the service was. It was a warm, welcoming place where I could enjoy a good meal, warm up, & spend a very pleasant time.
L'une des meilleurs pizzas que j'ai mangé depuis longtemps. & excellent service.
Certain que je vais y retourner.
The staff was sweet, but the food super expensive & not up to par.... Really disappointed... The ceasar had rusty salad & the bloody Caesar tasted off
Absolutely love it here, it's the most cozy & sweet restaurant in downtown Montreal. The music & ambience make you feel like you're in a little Italian cafe. The pasta is delicious & made with fresh ingredients. The pizza was slightly hard, but still delightful! Wonderful service & atmosphere, we love coming here!
The service is great & has a classic retro vibe.
The food, however, is average but decently priced. It's a safe location to choose if you would like to stick to North American style Italian food.
La pire pizza de MTL, service 0, ambiance étrange, on a pris les restes pour donner au chien !
Not bad at all. I just wished the dining room was cleaner & better heated during my visit. As other reviewers have reported, the dining room was FILTHY (I saw crumbs a used toothpicks on the carpet), & there were plenty of workers standing around at the counter area (not in the kitchen). But I enjoyed my salad, bread, & pasta.
Très bonne option de pâtes maison au centre ville, pas cher . L'ambiance était simple , mais la nourriture délicieuse.
Very lovely & quiet place to eat. Service was excellent; the workers are so kind. Food was tasty- garlic bread was fabulous
It's ok. Don't expect too much. However, the tiramisu is different from other places I tried.
The fresh baked bread is amazing. Food is delicious & service was attentive. Had a pizza the first night & liked it so much came back for the pasta another night.
Stopped in late, around 10:30 pm for a pizza, since many other places closed their kitchen already. I loved the older, authentic Italian vibe. Felt like the restaurant is straight out of the Godfather. Ordered a pizza. It was very good, just didn't like the dry crust. Employees were friendly. A very pretty Italian girl took my order. Seems like maybe it's family owned & operated.
Very happy we found this restaurant for a birthday dinner, group of 5. We made a last minute reservation & were able to secure a table.
Very cozy & lovely decor & atmosphere. We felt like we had flown to Italy for the evening.
Wonderful very reasonably priced table d'hote, very good portions & extremely tasty, from the soups, salads, to main dishes & desserts. Our group had veal, chicken, shrimp & pasta as main courses as well as pizza & everybody was very satisfied with their meals.
The only recommendation for the kitchen would be to time things better so that all appetizers & mains are served at the same time. There was a lag between the soups & salads & the pizza was served about 15 minutes before those having other main courses.
Great value & we all agreed that would gladly return ! Thanks
The restaurant was warm & cozy except whenever the outside door was opened. I looked forward to the authentic pizza oven 🍕. Ordered a Caesar salad to start & was surprised by the fake bacon bits & tiny store bought croutons. Lettuce was fresh though. The chef's pizza was good although missing the sausage that was advertised. Service was efficient but not friendly.
Has a wonderful dinner here with friends. The food was delicious, service was efficient & friendly. We lingered having great conversation & never felt pressured to go.
I had a wonderful experience at Restaurant Siciliana in Montreal. The atmosphere was warm & welcoming, & the service was friendly from start to finish. The pizza was outstanding-perfectly crisp crust, fresh ingredients, & full of flavor. The chicken parmigiana was equally delicious, tender & perfectly seasoned with a rich, comforting sauce. Overall, a fantastic meal. I'll definitely be returning & highly recommend it to anyone craving great Italian food in the city!
