Really upsetting service :( It took 10 minutes to even take our order (& we had to ask), & 45-50 minutes for them to serve us. They were friendly & kind to all tables except ours. There were people who came long after us & finished & left before we even got our food. Every table was getting complimentary dinner rolls/bread except us, & the man serving was actively avoiding looking at us. A very bizarre experience!
Food was just okay. When we were done, they took away our plates hurriedly & gave us the bill in under a minute. It was very strange after they made us wait so long but wanted to get us out the door ASAP.
We also had reservations, but got very crowded seats at the edge.
Very bad experience, would not recommend at all!

I had a wonderful experience at Restaurant Siciliana in Montreal. The atmosphere was warm & welcoming, & the service was friendly from start to finish. The pizza was outstanding-perfectly crisp crust, fresh ingredients, & full of flavor. The chicken parmigiana was equally delicious, tender & perfectly seasoned with a rich, comforting sauce. Overall, a fantastic meal. I'll definitely be returning & highly recommend it to anyone craving great Italian food in the city!
I judge a restaurant by its service & food quality, & this one met my expectations. The waiter was friendly & knew the menu well enough to make thoughtful recommendations. After a few minutes, the food arrived-& it tasted great. We would have visited the restaurant again, but we left Montreal the following day.
Je juge un restaurant à son service & à la qualité de ses plats, & celui-ci a répondu à mes attentes. Le serveur était sympathique & connaissait suffisamment le menu pour me faire des recommandations judicieuses. Quelques minutes plus tard, les plats étaient servis & délicieux. Nous y serions bien retournés, mais nous avons quitté Montréal le lendemain.
J'ai mangé dans ce restaurant récemment & j'ai bien aimé l'expérience. L'ambiance était calme & chaleureuse, parfaite pour passer un moment tranquille. La serveuse était très gentille & le service en général était agréable.
La salade était fraîche & les pâtes étaient bonnes, même si un peu trop grasses à mon goût (il y avait pas mal d'huile). Mais dans l'ensemble, ça restait correct.
Je recommande si vous cherchez un endroit simple, accueillant & calme pour manger.
Un bon restaurant sicilien. Avant tout j'ai lu les quelques avis négatifs & je n'ai pas du tout vécu la même chose . Déjà le cadre est rustique & ça fait son charme. Le plat de pâte que j'ai pris était délicieux. Je recommande cette adresse. En plus un super accueil.
Restaurant Siciliana had a somewhat authentic Italian feel to it, with a cozy atmosphere. The food had great flavor, & I enjoyed the tortellini soup & chicken parmesan. However, the chicken was so thin that it ended up overcooked & a little hard around the edges.
Unfortunately, the experience was marred by some issues. Some of the staff were sitting at tables playing on their phones & just staring around, which made me feel uncomfortable. Additionally, the restaurant was filled with fumes from the brick oven & looked smokey. You could see the black char going up the brick oven & on the ceiling tiles.
Overall, I would not recommend Restaurant Siciliana if you are visiting Montreal.

What a fantastic way to ring in the New Year! Restaurant Siciliana was the perfect choice for our New Year's Eve celebration. Despite the busy night, the service was outstanding - attentive & friendly. The food was absolutely delicious, & the atmosphere was lively & festive. We were so impressed, & we highly recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic Italian cuisine with a great ambiance.
Le resto ne paie pas de mine & nous n'y allons pas pour l'ambiance ni pour la déco. Toutefois, les pizzas cuites au feu de bois sont succulentes! La pâte est parfaite (à notre goût), la garniture est généreuse & le choix est énorme. Vous trouverez votre bonheur quant à la variété. Bref, pour déguster une très bonne pizza sur le fly, je recommande !
Super repas de qualité & pas trop cher! Merci à Audrey pour son magnifique service & son accueil chaleureux! Je recommande si vous voulez manger des excellentes pâtes & pizzas 10/10
So here the thing - service was great, nice vibe, classic home style Italian restaurant. HOWEVER - I received something tainted with peanuts & ended up in the hospital shortly after leaving. If you have a peanut allergy I would recommend you look elsewhere.
Food was great! The service was quick & was great for a quick lunch during my work lunch break! You can see the wood burning oven & the pizza was amazing!i highly recommend this place. The prices were decent for a downtown location. Just go. You won't regret it

Always sad to see restaurants advertising traditional Italian cuisine but then failing badly at it. The chianti also tasted like vinegar, I do not recommend!
Outstanding, casual, authentic, blue collar, down to earth, delicious, Italian cuisine & pizza, with a very attentive & super-friendly/caring staff. The food is definitely 4.25 star quality, but Google doesn't give me the option to select in between 4-5 stars. The prices are very reasonable (especially for a major city)! Nice sized portions too. Great prices. & friendly servers. Not much to complain about here. Perhaps we are spoiled, coming from NY, & it takes a heck of a lot to impress us with regards to Italian cuisine. Nevertheless, highly recommended. A+
It's an amazing Italian restaurant with such tasty food. We ordered cheese garlic bread, pizza & pasta & they all were so good. The service was also fast & friendly. Highly recommend!
Quaint, friendly, lovely place with exceptional food quality. Simple & uncomplicated decor lets the amazing food be the star. Highly recommend visiting.
