Amazing Eastern European restaurant in Montreal! We actually came here all the way from Quebec City, & we definitely did not regret it. We enjoyed the food so much that we stayed overnight in Montreal, & the next day we came back to Miran again!
We tried the manti, plov, shorpa, lagman, shashlik, & salads, & had tea as well. Everything was absolutely delicious - authentic, flavorful, & tasted just like homemade food.
We also want to give a special mention to the staff. Everyone was very friendly, welcoming, attentive, & professional. The service made our experience even better.
Thank you to the whole Miran team for the delicious food, hospitality, & wonderful experience. If you love authentic Eastern cuisine, this place is definitely worth visiting. For us, it was worth the drive from Quebec City, & we will definitely come back!
The service was so slow & they didn't even have enough for the customers. They brought the food in 40 minutes & they forgot one of our friend's food & they didn't even apologize. They said she had to wait another half an hour. Whatever we asked they were out. Even dessert. Never going back again
The grilled kebabs were the best part of the game night, but let's be real, I was definitely the highlight of the room. If you are a cute guy who missed your chance to say hello, you should find a way to make up for that soon.
the restaurant is genuinely one of the prettiest in the neighbourhood. they serve a lot of lamb meat but also have some beef options. the food is amazing ! the portions for the price is good, definitely worth giving a shot ! the staff are so nice & respectful, they make sure everything is fine.
everything is halal too
Great food, very fast service & good size portions. It's not the biggest menu, but if you like this type of food - prepare to be amazed, all freshly made.
This is my go-to for uygur food namely laghman, manty, samsa, & pilov. I normally order a takeout because those are huge portions & it is better eating at home :D
We were never disappointed with quality of food here as everything is delicious & freshly made. I would only note that you have to expect food be spicy... removing spice completely changes dish dramatically...
Excellent Uyghur restaurant with a beautiful & authentic atmosphere. The colorful lamps & decorations make the place feel warm & unique.
I tried the lamb shank with rice, fried laghman noodles & samsa. Everything was fresh & delicious. The lamb was very tender, & the rice portion was huge. The fried laghman was somewhere between Turkish & Chinese cuisine, with handmade noodles & great flavor. The samsa was also excellent & very filling.
The staff were friendly & even offered me a small sample of their traditional Uyghur drink. It tasted like a cold ayran smoothie with a little sweetness from honey. Interesting & refreshing, although I personally still prefer regular ayran.
The restaurant is very clean, quiet & comfortable. It would be a great place to come with family as well. Next time I definitely want to try their kebabs.
