Originally from a port city on the Mediterranean has its reputation of seafood meal we have to meet the high expectations that it comes with the name CANAL.

This is probably my 3rd or 4th time at this restaurant, & it's always been delicious. We didn't know that we had to reserve, but nevertheless, we were seated in 10-15 minutes, which I highly appreciated. The food & service are always amazing. I will definitely be coming back for more!

I recently visited this restaurant for the second time in a while. It makes a huge difference when you have a manager who is passionate introducing you to the options & tastes with their recommendations. Plus when they have fun doing it, you can see the vibe reciprocate into the quality & value of the food. Definitely the best seafood place as of recent that i have visited if you want a sit down or take out for traditional high quality Mediterranean. I had Calamari, mussels, grilled shrimp & shrimp soup. The calamari were thick & juicy (not over fried or bottom of the pan quality). The shrimp baste was amazing with the mussel lemon garlic. Will definitely return.
This place is far & away from those tourist spots in Montreal but YOU MUST TRY HERE! It's a hidden jam. You basically choose what seafood you want to eat & let them know the size by pound. They will ask whether to grill them or fry, they are all your choice. You can look at the prices online & decide. We ordered half pound shrimp & octopus, a whole seabass, small rice & grilled veggies. Everything was so amazing & price was perfect too. Our portion was really for 3-4 people but we (2) wanted to try different things. It was a lot of food for two ppl but we still ate them all 😂 we were super full at the end but came back home with happy stomach. The owner & everyone else were so kind & friendly.💖
Despite being very busy on a Saturday night & a very long wait time, the staff /owner made sure we were being well taken care of. The food was great & service was even better!

I was so impressed with the flavors & the freshness of their sea food. Everything was delicious, I can't even come up with one fault. Their prices were extremely reasonable. We will definitely come back!
Food was incredible, one of the best octopus dishes I've had! We were served quickly & prices were more than acceptable. Highly recommend & will be going back again! ❤️

The food is awesome! The octopus is absolutely incredible. Shrimps were amazing & the friend calamari we're very tasty. Looking forward to going back! Great staff too!
First time & I must say Best seafood in town. Where ever I go I must try the fish & chips being locally or when we travel. Best fish & chips since our last trip to Europe. My wife had the salmon, & it was awesome Their service is amazing, friendly & food is cooked fresh! Highly recommend this place, keep it up !! We will be back.
Great Egyptian seafood resto. Food is delicious, service is good & well priced. Tables & chairs are a bit close to each other, however the overall experience is worth a try. I recommend!

The food is amazing & the staff is great. Really enjoyed our experience today. The only downside is the crowded seating & the strong smell of the seafood. With proper ventilation & a more spacious dining area it would easily be 5 stars.
