Mon amie & moi avons reçu un service impeccable de la part de Jessica. On s'est senties comme des princesses. Je recommande le chai latte & la crêpe chocolat-noisette!! Mon amie a adoré les oeufs benedictines avec la sauce hollandaise aux betteraves. Une belle découverte, merci!
C'était la 4e fois que je mangeais à l'Avenue: 3 fois à celui-ci & une fois à celui sur Mont-Royal. Je suis toujours satisfaite de la nourriture. Les portions ont été réduites après la pandémie, mais n'empêche qu'on ne repart pas du tout le ventre vide. J'aime le fait qu'ils servent du vrai sirop d'érable & non du sirop de table. Leur creton est littéralement le seul que j'aime. Je recommande fortement d'essayer un smoothie. J'ai pris le jouvence & il était tout simplement parfait ! Sinon, côté nourriture, le pain doré est incroyable. Les crêpes ne sont pas wow, mais tout est question de préférence. Je préfère celles qui sont fines. Ce qu'il faut savoir avant de venir : le restaurant est populaire, donc il y a du bruit & pratiquement toujours une file d'attente. Ils ne prennent pas les réservations. Planifiez donc en conséquence. Pour 2 personnes, nous avons attendu 15 minutes un samedi vers 12h. Pour un groupe de 10 personnes, nous avions attendu 30-40 minutes durant l'été. Bon appétit !
We went on a Saturday morning & had to wait around 30mins for a table. The wait was 100% worth it! The drinks were not too sweet & creative, which we loved. The food was also delicious & filling. The amount of food you get for the price is crazy. We couldn't finish our portions 😅 It's a bit loud in there but it wasn't too bad. Overall would definitely recommend even if there is a wait.
Amazingly delicious food, great quality ingredients & unlimited maple syrup who could ask for more !! Wait was definitely reasonable. Drinks were really good & big portions compared to the price! Would definitely recommend going ! The whole restaurant was definitely a vibe !

I rarely stand in line for a restaurant but since we are on vacation I happily joined the crowd. The big surprise was that this decadent brunch spot was worth the wait. I wouldn't & couldn't eat here often & still fit into my clothes but we all thoroughly enjoyed every bit of our brunch. The service was initially slow in this busy restaurant but once our order was taken the service was attentive & upbeat. The vibe of the place is great with cool design features & great attention to the music. I'd recommend the blueberry pancakes with cream & lemon drizzle & the hazelnut latte.. but leave time for a post brunch nap!
Excellent experience...highly recommended! The food tasted magnificent. I tried the truffle duck & the strawberry nocciolata, both delicious. The size of the dishes...needless to say, they're perfect for sharing! Congratulations Eric!!!

Great breakfast restaurant- good food, large portions at a reasonable price, all wrapped around a comfortable setting & a friendly atmosphere.
Service was exemplary. David, our waiter, was professional, friendly, attentive & beyond accommodating. He made the experience an 11 on 10 rating:)

UPDATE 2024:
Sad to be reporting this place is no longer gluten friendly. It's rare I've seen a restaurant regress on offerings like this, but the potatoes now have gluten in their seasoning & they've removed the gluten free bread. The last photo is what I was able to eat 😅 unfortunately won't be swinging by here anymore.

Wow - this place is worth the hype !
Showed up on a Sunday just after noon with three friends & didn't have too long of a wait (maybe 15mins).
The servers were very knowledgeable regarding the menu & were able to point out all they could modify for my gluten + dairy allergy. I do wish they were just a little more present on the floor as we could have used more coffee haha.
Personally, I ordered the shakshuka with gluten free toast, it came with a side of potatoes & the whole thing was sooo tasty.
Two friends got the pecan French toast & said it tasted like a pecan pie. They highly recommended it. The last friend got the eggs Benny, she found it so delicious & filling she took the second half home.
Would 100% come by here again.

Visited on a Monday afternoon, so there were still some open seats when we arrived. We ordered the waiter's recommendations: the Truffle Duck Benedict & the Dubai Chocolate French Toast. Both dishes were quite good. The duck was flavorful & the potato side was especially delicious-highly recommend it! The pistachio butter in the French toast wasn't very strong, which was a bit disappointed. As for the mocha, the dark chocolate flavor was too strong covered the taste of coffee, a bit more like hot chocolate without overly sweet.
Overall, the service was friendly & attentive, & the staff were nice. The restaurant environment was also pleasant. A good spot for brunch.
La Venue is truly a gem in Montreal! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm & inviting. The food was absolutely delicious, with every dish prepared to perfection.
A special shoutout to Roy, whose Lebanese hospitality made the experience even more special. He went above & beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, always providing the best with a smile. His kindness & attention to detail truly stood out!
