We had a late breakfast around 10:00/10:30 so no wait. I ordered the'Bob goes to Istanbul', hubby got'Bob goes to Japan'; both were amazing. Great food, great service! If I lived anywhere near there I would be there quite often😆
Visited for a long weekend & the best food we had in Montreal was the breakfast here. We wish we would have visited the first day & kept going back. Skip the bagels, come here & you won't regret it.

Have lived in the area for five years now, & we just keep returning to L'avenue. It's become our favourite brunch spot. The portions are so generous, & it's a super comfy place! Don't believe the other reviews that this is a tourist trap-it's a super high quality brunch place, & one of the absolute best on Notre Dame Ouest. We always get the St Ambroise eggs Benedict & the « I'll have it all », which reminds me a lot of a full English breakfast. Phenomenal!!
It was our first time at this location .... we usually go to the one in Brossard. We came on Saturday around 3 PM. I was hoping they would have a brunch menu, but unfortunately, only breakfast was available. I ordered a pistachio latte, but the coffee was cold. We ordered breakfast for two ,it was okay, but next time we'll go back to Brossard. Their menu is twice as big, & the coffee is always hot. The service is very pleasant at both locations.
It's trendy & usually have my drawbacks , the service are very overworked !!!! The place is always full & they're always running around. They're good at this job & very professionals & nice , they do need 1-2 extra especially during breakfast
Great place. Maybe a tad expensive for their fancy plates but their regular 2 eggs toast+meat is legit. Their homemade sausage is good, & the breakfast comes with beans. I'll come back for sure.
Breakfast portions are VERY large. I enjoyed my eggs & steak Benedict very much. The poached eggs were cooked to perfection. The side of bacon was also good. The mango mimosa was also very good. Unfortunately, the sausage was really dry, & I would not order it again. The place was not so loud that we needed to shout to be heard, although the music WAS loud enough to hear, & was pleasant to listen to while eating. They have 3 unisex bathrooms, with one having a baby changing table.
It's really too bad. My fiance already wrote the place off but decided to give it another try since I wanted the blueberry ricotta pancakes. I had to get up to go ask for a coffee refill, 10m after i had already asked someone while i was seated. His eggs were just about over hard when he asked for over easy. It took forever to get our food. Forever even to stop our waiter to pay our bill. Our waiter said how busy it was the 3x he came to the table. Sure the place was full but there was no line up, they were clearly understaffed for a Monday that most people took the day off. Still... for the price of breakfast these days, it felt like we wasted 60$.

Great breakfast restaurant- good food, large portions at a reasonable price, all wrapped around a comfortable setting & a friendly atmosphere.
Service was exemplary. David, our waiter, was professional, friendly, attentive & beyond accommodating. He made the experience an 11 on 10 rating:)

I normally make a point to avoid any franchise restaurants because once you start scaling it can be hard to replicate the magic of the original place. But L'Avenue has managed to keep quality, service, & taste all at the top tier for an amazing breakfast experience. Extremely happy with both visits to this restaurant & am excited to try their location more local to me.

Loved the food at L'Avenue! Went as a party of two around 11 AM & we didn't have to wait very long at all, though we saw larger parties having to wait for a while. Got the Indecisive Sticky Toffee Pudding Pancakes & a latte & both were delicious (the breakfast potatoes & the scrambled eggs were especially good). Highly recommend for a good brunch!
I visited L'avenue in Montreal with my cousin, & we had a great time! I went for the Los Cabo's Chicken Waffle, & it was absolutely delicious. The dish features a corn waffle topped with crispy fried chicken, shallots, cheddar cheese, guacamole, sriracha sauce, & maple syrup. The combination of flavors was spot on-savory, spicy, & sweet, all in one bite.
The corn waffle was light & crispy, the chicken was perfectly juicy, & the shallots & cheddar added a nice savory punch. The guacamole balanced the heat from the sriracha, & the maple syrup brought everything together with a touch of sweetness. It was filling but not too heavy, & every bite was a little bit different, which kept it interesting.
My cousin, on the other hand, had the Indecisive Meal, which was a fun concept-basically a bit of everything classic breakfast food. He enjoyed it.
The vibe at Lavenue was cozy, & the service was friendly, making it the perfect spot for a casual brunch. The prices are on the higher side for brunch, but the quality & creativity make it worth it. If you're in Montreal & want something unique, definitely try the Los Cabo's Chicken Waffle!

Food is superb!!!!! Probably the best breakfast I've ever had. Organic eggs, Dubai French toast, fresh cream. I mean omg! Server was so nice & welcoming. Highly recommend!
Every single time I come to Montreal I will ALWAYS come here. Best breakfast EVER. Food is always so fresh & creatively made, everything is put together with love & care & perfection. You can go a thousand times & the quality never changes from amazing. Thank you for the amazing service & amazing food every time. If you could only have one breakfast I would recommend this place right here.
