Our family's favorite Chinese restaurant. The food is tasty & served in a generous amount. The servers are cheerful & accommodating. Our favorite is the fried rice, Cantonese chow mien, fried chicken, sweet & sour fish, & the stuffed tofu.View more
The food is generally very consistent. On occasion we have found that the kitchen has burnt the noodles in our fried noodle dish.View more
Great food, we have General Tao, Chinese broccoli & fried rice. The portions are very big for the price, the chicken is crispy; would definitely be back again.View more
I have been going there for over thirty years.Have tried several restaurants like kam shing. No doubt the quality & portions are top notch. The service at times as you have read in previous reviews is questionable, but no doubt it has gotten better. If you don't want msg or less sodium they will be happy to oblige.Again great food!!!psBeef & broccoli.,orange beef, chicken fried noodles & mixed vegetables are very good.View more
Portions are huge! & the sizes of the chicken & shrimps are big. But all in all it's one of those Asian restaurants, you go in to get the job done & leave. Don't expect much customer service, just going there to eat. But for my food I did feel it was bland, like there was no taste in my chicken fried rice. Maybe it was an off day.View more
Tasting the "wok hei" at Restaurant Kam Shing, on Cote des Neiges. Been coming to this place since it was at the original location, & the food has consistently been delicious.
Wok breath - that unique smokiness & aroma imparted to food from a perfectly seasoned wok
Must haves :
• General Tao chicken (moist meat, lightly battered & perfectly deep fried, served with the signature Tao sauce)
• Yang Chow fried rice (fried rice with dices of char sui pork, shrimp, vegetables)
• Wonton Noodle soup with Shrimp dumplings (note: photo shows a partially eaten bowl -- SO goodView more
Price : 59.22$ (picture)
Food is good, big portions with affordable prices ! A lot of people have been eating here for generations. You see a diversity of clients so they adapt properly to everyone (yes they have to judge you to see the amount of msg they put). I got one water refill at the end. I didn't ask tho but usually I shouldn't ask. Don't get me wrong, staff is hard working. For take away, they gave us boxes & a nice reusable bag. +1
Food : (way enough for 2 people, good for 3-4)

My friend & I wanted take out last night & we decided to place an order & go pick it up at this particular place. We had spring rolls, general Tao chicken, orange beef & vegetable fried noodles & we loved it. Easily one of the best general Tao chicken I have ever had.
