We ordered via their QR code & the food started arriving within 5 minutes! Everything was super fresh & crispy. I've gone for dim sum countless times in Montreal & this was by far the best tasting version I've had. None of the fried dishes were greasy: the squid tentacles, fried turnip cake, seaweed rolls, & even the crispy shrimp inside the rice rolls were super crispy & light. The har gao shrimp dumplings were plump, perfectly cooked & not waterlogged, & the BBQ pork Bao was a revelation - perfectly steamed bread stuffed with chunks of high quality BBQ pork & delicious sauce, not the usual slimy overly sweet stuff you get at the bun shops. Highly recommend this place, we'll be going back soon!
Had a great experience with my family of 5 at this dim sum restaurant in Brossard! First, I appreciate that there's accessible parking, then there are tons of dim sum dishes to choose from, they even put a Chef's Choice recommendations to guide us choose what's most popular. I found the waiters to be very attentive, as soon as they saw an empty plate, they would help clear it away so that we have more space. The room is big & spacious, great ambiance! Highly recommend!
Best place for Chinese dim sum in Montreal island ..lots of classic yummy dishes on menu to order from
Came here a couple of times
Parking is a bit difficult
Always crowed & pack here
Especially on weekends
Bathrooms are average clean
But some dishes aren't not well washed
Mine got lipstick stain …eww gross 😒
Overall good service & quick
Food came out pretty fast too
Food was good but the service was horrendous. We waited about 40 minutes for our'appetizer' to arrive & then another 15 minutes for our first main dish to arrive. The rest of the dishes came another 15 minutes after. Quite the long wait for everything to come out.
They also seemed severely understaffed & sometimes forgot requests we gave (like asking for napkins which they did not provide at the beginning, or for some hot sauce).
Overall, would I come back here? Even though the food was good, no, I wouldn't.
Something new! Had my cousins 100th day party here. The service was fast for our party of 50. I got to try new things. The menu was a bit different due to the size of our party so I wasn't expecting some of the dishes that we received. Nevertheless it was pretty good! I loved the lobster & a little less the chicken ahaha.
Went in for dim sum on a Sunday.
It's not traditional dim sum with carts. You order items via webpage/qr code on menu.
Service is almost nonexistent, had a hard time waving someone down to end meal & get some takeout boxes. Pay up at the counter after.
Overall felt the dim sum dishes tasted pretty good. Many of the expected dishes. The chicken feet were huge.
I can't comment about the service or atmosphere since we've never eaten there. We just order from there. A lot. & we've been doing so for years now, & will continue to! What can I say, it's not NYC level Chinese take-out/order (where I lived for many years) but it's by far the best we've tried in the Candiac/Brossard/Laprairie/Longueuil area & we've tried many. Some dishes are just average but nothing is bad & the stand outs definitely stand out. The price is right & so is the consistency. I get literal cravings for the braised pork & beef dishes but I've tried everything there is to try & many other dishes have been amazing. Again, nothing bad, just varying levels of good to great in our humble opinion as self-proclaimed'foodies' even if I hate that term. Still can't find NYC level beef & broccoli though, not even here. Anyone have a source in the area? =) In any event, this place trumps (sorry, it was a word before a president) the best of Asian in most South Shore areas. Happy we live close.
Our favourite dim sum spot on the South Shore! Dishes are delicious & staff are super friendly, especially with our kids.
my picks for takeout & delivery: chicken egg rolls & sauteed rice noodles with beef
huge portions & well-priced, i would say these are the best egg rolls ive had so far (this & kam fung's)! none of that frozen eggrolls where they all taste the same
my only negative thing would be that their dishes are pretty oily but really yummy for a hangover cure
Good dimsum for montreal. The fried dishes were very fresh & tasty. The fried calamari was super tender & the XO sauce fried turnip cake was very good. The rest of the food was also pretty decent. The service is very fast & we didn't wait for more than 5 minutes for a table of 2 on a saturday around 1pm.
Excellent food, the dishes can be easily shared with 2-3 people. My new favorite restaurant in Brossard
We just celebrated our baby's 100th day at this restaurant & I need to say this was the best decision we've made. The room was set up for us exactly the way we wanted & it was ready for us way before our arrival. The food was delicious & the portion was super generous. The service was truly impeccable, the staff were polite & very attentive to all of our needs. I've never seen such an efficient service & team. All out of our 10 dishes menu came out quickly, & all of our guests really enjoyed their meal. They even got to take out the remaining of the food since the portions were so generous. Thank you Imperial Team for the amazing food & service, you made our celebration even more pleasurable & memorable.
This is a great dimsum place, one of the best in Montreal. You order off a menu, not pushcarts, but the dishes are fresher, larger, & tastier than most competitors.
Amazing spot for Dim Sum. Best with a big group of friends to be able to try numerous dishes. The online ordering system keeps the process easy & the food pops out of the kitchen shortly after. Arrive early on the weekend as it gets REALLY busy really fast!
Great Chinese Cantonese style dimsum. A little pricey if ordered small plate. order dishes would be more economic if you have more than 2 persons.
Likely the best dim sum in Montreal area. As good as Markham. We were a party of 5 people & ordered a variety of dim sum, 14 dishes in total. Food was delicious & all for $125...before tips. Excellent value. The only complaint is no reservations. Everyone has to wait in line.
I booked for dinner with my family, & by calling a few hours before, for some clarification I spoke in French but the lady I got on the phone answered me in English, she did not look to answer me in French yet she didn't understand me she answered me information unrelated to my question. The table service was quite slow, because all the staff was far too busy. Some waiters at times ignored us when we asked for water, we had to get up to go to the reception to be served. That being said, the dishes served were delicious anyway after the wait.
Note: This is the perspective from a northerner, friend who was a southerner said it was a great experience & loved the food. The food was okay, but there are definitely dishes that should not have been called what they are. Especially the mapo tofu, a mockery of the dish (but I guess that's understandable since this is more of a dim sum resturant rather than a sichuan resturant). Everything else was okay, the bbq platter was decent, but cold from the start. They don't skimp on portions though. Just not to my taste, I wouldn't pay this much again for this little flavour.
Maybe its not for me but i'd rather go to kam fung down the street. Menu choices are very little for dim sum & requires a qr code to order. Haven't tried their a la carte menu but let's be real, it's a dum sum place & should not be ordering a la carte canto/szechuan dishes. Not worth the gas unless you live in the shore. Better choices in the city for the same price point for dim sum.
