DimSum is ok, 4 stars
Dinner (1 star) is pretty bad. Poor food quality. Too salty & oily. Quantity is bad too. Waited 45min for the first dish to come. Highly NOT recommend for dinner. Service is bad, cold water barely got filled up.
When you arrive early, you only get to have what's available. So be sure to come later in the day to have the full menu.
Okay food, you need more direction if you're not accustomed to this style of ordering . The few times I've gone, I find it very loud.
It's a great place to go with your family. The food is awesome & service is quick
In my opinion this has the best dim sum on the south shore. Regular dining options are comparable to other restaurants in the region.
Yip was an absolute legend of a server. very good food also! Will come back.
I can't comment about the service or atmosphere since we've never eaten there. We just order from there. A lot. & we've been doing so for years now, & will continue to! What can I say, it's not NYC level Chinese take-out/order (where I lived for many years) but it's by far the best we've tried in the Candiac/Brossard/Laprairie/Longueuil area & we've tried many. Some dishes are just average but nothing is bad & the stand outs definitely stand out. The price is right & so is the consistency. I get literal cravings for the braised pork & beef dishes but I've tried everything there is to try & many other dishes have been amazing. Again, nothing bad, just varying levels of good to great in our humble opinion as self-proclaimed'foodies' even if I hate that term. Still can't find NYC level beef & broccoli though, not even here. Anyone have a source in the area? =) In any event, this place trumps (sorry, it was a word before a president) the best of Asian in most South Shore areas. Happy we live close.
