Restaurant Impérial is widely regarded as a premier destination for dim sum, offering a vast and diverse selection of fresh, authentic dishes that arrive piping hot thanks to an efficient QR-code ordering system. Many patrons praise the generous portion sizes, reasonable pricing, and high-quality staples like BBQ pork bao, har gao, and shrimp dumplings. While the atmosphere can be lively and bustling during peak hours, the spacious venue frequently hosts large family gatherings and receives compliments for its cleanliness and attentive service. Although experiences can occasionally vary regarding consistency and wait times during the busiest shifts, the restaurant remains a favorite for those seeking a modern, convenient, and flavorful Chinese dining experience in the Montreal and Brossard areas.
Went for dim sum on a Sunday morning, got there just before the rush. We ordered via their QR code & the food started arriving within 5 minutes! Everything was super fresh & crispy. I've gone for dim sum countless times in Montreal & this was by far the best tasting version I've had. None of the fried dishes were greasy: the squid tentacles, fried turnip cake, seaweed rolls, & even the crispy shrimp inside the rice rolls were super crispy & light. The har gao shrimp dumplings were plump, perfectly cooked & not waterlogged, & the BBQ pork Bao was a revelation - perfectly steamed bread stuffed with chunks of high quality BBQ pork & delicious sauce, not the usual slimy overly sweet stuff you get at the bun shops. Highly recommend this place, we'll be going back soon!
Authentic Chinese food. Try the lobster with green onion, Cantonese fried egg noodles & eggplant in hot pot. Friendly service & reservation recommended.
Had a great experience with my family of 5 at this dim sum restaurant in Brossard! First, I appreciate that there's accessible parking, then there are tons of dim sum dishes to choose from, they even put a Chef's Choice recommendations to guide us choose what's most popular. I found the waiters to be very attentive, as soon as they saw an empty plate, they would help clear it away so that we have more space. The room is big & spacious, great ambiance! Highly recommend!
Despite the notice saying they would be open on January 1st, the place was closed without explanation. Many customers, including us, were left waiting outside in the cold before eventually leaving. Children who came with their friends to celebrate the New Year were especially disappointed. Making a round trip from Montreal to Brossard for nothing was extremely frustrating. Imperial Brossard was a big disappointment.
