Value for price is quite good for the area. The shakshouka was very watery & a bit bland. It didn't have the usual flavour you expect from a shakshouka maybe canned tomatoes not sure. Also an option to order this without a giant egg & potato plate coming with it would be great.
Also had a breakfast sandwich which was quite good. The bacon is solid. Tea needs more options. There was only 3 an english breakfast or orange pekoe would be common.
Overall it's good, very good for the price point but a few things should be addressed for a brunch restaurant.
This was my first visit since Echo-Brunch opened. The restaurantwill seat about 60 at a mix of tables & banquettes so I sat at one of those. I ordered a latte & the shakshouka. Service was relaxed but prompt & I soon had my breakfast. The latte was fine, & the shakshoukha included the tomato sauce a frigate & two slices of toast. Anyway, I finished the breakfast which was tasty & I will be back to sample more of the menu. A promising start! This restaurant has a lot of potential & the menu is quite different to other local restaurants so it will be interesting to see how it develops.
