My family & I went to Restaurant Didar while visiting Montreal for the first time. We had a phenomenal experience. Our server was friendly & attentive. The menu had so many options & our server helped us pick out our dishes & gave very detailed descriptions of the flavors & spices. We enjoyed our lamb seekh kebab, chicken korma, chicken tikka masala, & naan. All around a great experience & a culinary highlight of our trip!
This is by far one of the best meals I had in a long time. This restaurant is a 4.7 easy!
The food tastes amazing!! Mango lassi is fantastic. Homemade yogourt ! Naan is made in a tandoor - incredibly good.
Quantity, quality & price wise all is a 5star
The service is great & friendly & helpful.
I don't have enough good words to say about the food & service , simply extraordinary
A true hidden gem! We ordered the butter chicken, naan, daal makhani, & a mango lassi. Every dish was excellent. The flavours were well balanced.
The butter chicken had just the right amount of sweetness & a beautiful, vibrant colour.
The daal makhani had a nice hint of heat. The naan was fresh, & the mango lassi tasted like it was made with plenty of real mango.
Everything was exactly what I was hoping for, & even better. I'll definitely be back for more ! (i would really like to have their chicken biryani next time👀)
We had a fantastic time at Didar. We stopped in for dinner on a hot Friday night. I have been eating Indian food since I was a child, & I can safely say this is some of the best Indian cuisine I've ever had. The naan was ridiculously good, very fluffy & fresh. Although we asked for mild spiciness, the food was still quite spicy, so I highly recommend getting a mango lassi to cool your palate between bites. The service was excellent & one of the workers went above & beyond to make us feel welcome. I highly recommend this restaurant.
The food was amazing. We tried Kadai Paneer, Kadai chicken & spinach Naan & garlic Naan. Everything was delicious 10/10. Also, staff member Jashan was very polite & sweet, thank you.
Restaurant fantastique & savoureux.
Great & tasty restaurant. My wife & I had: chicken pakoras, lots of garlic naan, chicken jalfrezi, beef Madras, & plenty of rice. I ate till my stomach hurt & still left with leftovers. Strong recommend if ever you're in the neighborhood.
We visited this restaurant last night while visiting Montreal. Found it on Google maps & it had great reviews , & was close to our hotel, so decided to try.
Wow !! Amazing food & service.
We ordered PaneerTikka , Butter Chicken , & Channa Masala with garlic Naan.
The Paneer Tikka came out sizzling on a cast iron grill & smelled & looked amazing . Tastes even better 😍
Every dish was bursting with flavour, loved them all.
Chatted with the owners, a family owned & run business for 25 years. Great experience overall, & look forward to returning on our next trip to Montreal .
Be sure to check out Didar Restaurant, highly recommend.
2 order of tika masalla & 3 naan for 50 bucks no rice, no no side veg, bland flavor. Didn't give an utensils & when I came back for them they were already closed. Do nor recommend
