A true hidden gem! We ordered the butter chicken, naan, daal makhani, & a mango lassi. Every dish was excellent. The flavours were well balanced.

The butter chicken had just the right amount of sweetness & a beautiful, vibrant colour.
The daal makhani had a nice hint of heat. The naan was fresh, & the mango lassi tasted like it was made with plenty of real mango.

Everything was exactly what I was hoping for, & even better. I'll definitely be back for more ! (i would really like to have their chicken biryani next time👀)

We had a fantastic time at Didar. We stopped in for dinner on a hot Friday night. I have been eating Indian food since I was a child, & I can safely say this is some of the best Indian cuisine I've ever had. The naan was ridiculously good, very fluffy & fresh. Although we asked for mild spiciness, the food was still quite spicy, so I highly recommend getting a mango lassi to cool your palate between bites. The service was excellent & one of the workers went above & beyond to make us feel welcome. I highly recommend this restaurant.

We visited Montreal all the way from Toronto & this restaurant completely blew us away! The food was outstanding-the Kulcha Thali was incredibly delicious, the Mango Lassi was super refreshing, & the Chana Bhature was a massive highlight because the Chana finally tasted like the authentic version you get back home in India. To top it all off, the service was truly exceptional, making us feel incredibly welcome & well taken care of. This is an absolute must-visit spot in Montreal, & we will definitely be back next time we are in town!

One of the best Indian food in Montreal. It reminds me the days when I used to live in Amritsar. Dal Makhani, Paneer Bhurji & Tandoori chicken are the best. Don't forget Lassi.
