dim sum(59) dishes(18) chinese(17) cart(13) quality(11) tip(10) authentic(9) dumpling(9) tasty(8)The Kim fung Restaurant has a not-so-good-but-energetic cart lady. She is also a scenery in the restaurant . The cart lady shouts & sells freshly cooked dishes, moving around the tables. She quickly & skillfully passes a few baskets of delicious dishes over the heads of the constant stream of diners. She also accurately stamps large, medium, small, & special dishes based on categories on the card paper with greasy hands. ( Sep 2024) Suggest to arrive there at 945am ,because the AC is getting colder & colder ,the food is more & more prepared. The Cantonese dimsun is ok , don't compare it with Vancouver, but still it is kind of comfort food for me.(Jun 2023)View more
Overall not very happy experience. Average food. The lady who took us to the bill picked the tip percentage for us directly & quickly & didn't give us a chance to choose for ourselves. Not a good feeling. No menu, you just need to choose what you want when trolleys are passing by. Asked for salt but no one offers us.View more
The dim sum menu did not have prices. Is that normal? Some of the dishes were aggressively salty. That combined with a lack of water (& one tiny teapot for a table of 7 that was never refilled) left us feeling very parched. We asked for a refill on the tea but never received it. The service was friendly otherwise. Still, the dishes tasted good other than the saltiness. Portions were good as well.View more
Daily dim sum during the week is less good than on weekends. I did notice what felt like purposeful over charging which has been mentioned by othered (maybe the tea is 7-8$?). Many dishes here are very good. I'll continue to come but will check bill as they mark it, & I will really try to go on weekends only for dim sum. I may also order from main menu during week days.View more
The service & atmosphere of the place are amazing. Although, the dim sum... well, I'm not here to criticize the food, but no one likes it. Including me.View more
The place is large, the Chinese restaurant large enough to host our 50 people group. Food was quite average, every dish tasted the same.View more
View more
Bon service rapide. View more
View more
The server took a good 20 mins to find our table. The food is actually somewhat decent. At the checkout, they charged 11 dishes (we had 10). I pointed out that the number is not quite the same... I am sure it never happens, although, it might worth to check it just to be sure...View more
Have eaten here more than any other restaurant. Usually outstanding.View more
Dim sum at night may not be traditional, but they had nearly their entire menu of dim sum items (as well as many other Chinese dishes) available at 8:30 & were still seating people until 9:15. Delicious, with friendly service & not crowded at that hour. Apparently the slightly tattered tablecloths are a tradition not a sign of neglect.View more
It's really good. Nice food, nice servers (?). I came here twice & it was comfortable, yeah it's a little crowdy but there is enough space to set your stuff. I brung my friend there & she was shock, it was a new experience for her, she especially loved the rolls, it was so good for her that she even ate the sauce.View more

Used to be a great place for weekend dimsum. Now it's way, way overpriced. I won't be going there anymore, can't afford it. Cost me $70! Franchement! On a side note, the bathrooms were disgusting. There's no way to lock the stall door & there didn't appear to be anyone maintaining them.View more
View more
