Well known MTL's restaurant in the Chinese community.
Excellent food & meals with very good service.View more
One of the only Dim Sum places always ready in the morning with chinese broccoli & our favorite desserts- Doufuhua & lotus paste sesame balls. (They also have the red bean ones, but I can only eat the lotus ones.)View more
I was craving authentic Chinese food & took my family to celebrate my wedding anniversary. The food was great as always.View more
The place is large, the Chinese restaurant large enough to host our 50 people group. Food was quite average, every dish tasted the same.View more
Dim sum at night may not be traditional, but they had nearly their entire menu of dim sum items (as well as many other Chinese dishes) available at 8:30 & were still seating people until 9:15. Delicious, with friendly service & not crowded at that hour. Apparently the slightly tattered tablecloths are a tradition not a sign of neglect.View more
It is one of the best Chinese food places in the whole of Montreal. The portions were very generous, & every dish was incredibly tasty. The service was also excellent.View more
We had a great experience here; getting to taste high quality Chinese cuisine with a local person. We literally didn't know what our friend was ordering, but we trusted he knew what he was ordering & what's best to eat at this place. & in all fairness, everything he ordered was fresh, of high quality & tasty.View more
Huge round table perfect for a family dinner or a souper with some friends the staff is friendly but u need to repeat. They only speak English or Chinese. My childhood restaurant !! 🤤 Super view & clean !! They have toilets !! For 3 it was less than 60$ not bad not bad & the food was delicious !! MY FAVORITE OBVIOUSLY WONTON SOUP ( in the picture the price was around 40$ - 50$ )View more

We chose this place as we were trying to find a non-touristy!!! Chinese restaurant in China town via this website & looking at the recommendation on my phone. It was a bit difficult trying to find the entrance of the place, as you access it through a business centre serviced probably by Chinese businesses for mainly Chinese diaspora & then take the stairs to the upper level & go towards the south-western corner of the building.
We were a bit more dismayed seeing the white cloth covered chairs & tables, normally used for receptions/weddings but checking their menu we found not only stuff that we love but also that their prices are not high compared to similar prices in UK or USA.
The staff was very friendly & welcoming & although only 3 table being taken, we noticed by the time we left, there were around 8 table occupied near our window table overlooking a wall, which meant we had a quiet environment & the servers were faster.
The food was great, a mix of dim sum, soft shell crab, beef rice etc & noticing how ripped both the table cloths & the menus were, our server told us the owner prefers this for more character!!!View more
Very authentic dim sum. Even the people were rude like in a real Chinese restaurant. The bathrooms however are disgustingView more
Looking for dumplings or siomai, it’s this side of town where you should be having authentic Chinese cuisine. Lots of choices that you wanted to taste each of their special dishes.View more
Food was good. Not the best ever but it was tasty, & there was a lot of choice. The concept was nice too.
But... The service was just awful. Besides the fact that it is over crowded & that the waiters are yelling at each others, which could have a charm on its own, the staff is just rude. Simply rude. They won't take the time to explain to you neither how it works, how it costs, or what the plates are. At the end, it proved to be rather expensive for not that much. We asked for water (we also had tea, of course), we received it at the end of the meal, after asking several times. Considering the service, we decided to give 10% instead of 15% of tip. The waitress proved to deserve 0%, she insulted us in front of everybody saying that we HAD to give her more, that we were cheap, calling on god & even talking about stuff we talked amongst ourselves during the dinner (why was she listening to us instead of working?!?!) & like talking really really loud & very aggressively.. She made us feel really bad & humiliated when she should be ashamed of the service she gave us. Btw I worked in restaurants as a waitress, I would have NEVER done what that waitress did & I do tip well normally because I know how important this is. Matter of fact, even when I get really, really bad service, I still give 10%. It was amongst my worst service experiences before the tip incident, & definitely became the worst service I ever received in a restaurant after. I will never go back there, there are plenty of better Chinese restaurants that will offer you a decent service as well.
