Flawless. The sommelier was incredible, the wine pairing felt like a whole separate wine tasting except paired perfectly with the courses. Each dish was expertly created. Seriously. Not one dish was a miss. Thank you!!!
We came back after several years, we love the new concept of local food - outstanding. Being on the terrasse on a lovely evening & getting the best service - merci beaucoup.
Very nice, food & atmosphere. I will come back in the summer since they have nice terrace. Wine selection is unique as well, with many Austrian wines.
Wonderful place & service
Staff is super attentive, great recommendations for pairings of wine & lovely decoration
Highly recommend the tasting menu (92$ p/person)
This place is incredible! We read about it in'36 Hours in Montreal' & were intrigued by the fact that it used to be a church.
The staff were so welcoming from the moment we walked in. They decided to close the patio because of lightning & potential rain, & were so apologetic about that.
The menu changes every month & is a four course prix fixe menu. Our first course was a bean & kohlrabi salad with a yogurt dressing with some other goodness. It was so bright & a great summer salad! The second course was tomato, eggplant, & clams with some greens in a clam broth. Absolutely fantastic & we were so glad that we had bread to soak up the excess broth! We had two options for the third course (a pork dish with garlic & ginger, & a pasta dish with chanterelles, corn, & cauliflower), so I ordered the pasta & my partner ordered the pork so we could try both of them. Both were delicious, but we both agreed that the pasta was the better of the two. We had two options for the finale (a goat cheese with nectarine, & a strawberry, raspberry, & pepper dish with vanilla ice cream), so we each ordered one of them. Both were great - hard to pick a favorite! We also had pour over coffee. They get their coffee from Dispatch (a Montreal coffee shop), & we enjoyed it a lot.
Make yourself a reservation (easy to do on Resy) & dine here! You won't regret it.
The spicy margarita was the best thing I had all night, at least until I showed up. The Astros won, but you would be the real lucky one if you reached out to see if I am actually as fun as I look. Someone worth my time can figure that out.
