A gem in Parc-Ex!
This was a truly beautiful culinary discovery.
The food was incredibly fresh, flavorful, & clearly made with love. We took the Chicken Noodles & Nasi Lemak (highly recommended). As you can see, we completely devoured our dishes!
The owner & his wife, who run the restaurant, provided a warm & welcoming service. They took the time to guide us through the menu & give us great recommendations.
You truly sense the passion behind every dish. I highly recommend this spot & will absolutely be coming back.
A true must-try!!!
Friendly owners. Everything I've had here has been super delicious -- from the kottu roti, ayam rendang to the friend chicken noodles, it's all great!
Edit: Consistently good. Arguably the best restaurant in Parc-Ex, & one of my faves in the city.
We had the shrimp noodles & the lamb kitty rotti & everything was delicious! The service is really friendly & the portions are generous. We will definitely be back :)
The 4.8 score does not lie. This is perhaps one of the most underrated spots in town. This restaurant seriously serves some of the tastiest dishes you'll ever have in Montreal. I've eaten here three times now & I'm hooked on their chicken noodles dish. Fresh, crispy vegetables, tasty chicken, perfect noodles & a generous portion. Canada Best is mos def the best of Canada.👌🏽
Amazing food experience! Friendly owner & the food was very authentic, cheap & most importantly delicious. I definitely recommend the Nasi Lemak & Shrimp Noodles. There's no better malaysian or Sri Lanka restaurant in Montreal
As a Malaysian, the food is really authentic with good price. We have Nasi Lemak & fried noodles.
The nasi lemak, meat thali, & fried shrimp noodles were all excellent, but especially the nasi lemak! Masala chai & mango lassi were great too! The owners are a sweet & hospitable couple from Sri Lanka & Malaysia.
Best Sri Lankan food in Montreal! Their fried noodles & mango lassi are also amazing!! Please come here!
Food was OK. Quantity was on the small side. Noodles appear to be instant noodle type.
A Hidden Gem We'll Never Forget
We stumbled upon this incredible Malaysian-Sri Lankan restaurant purely by accident & what a delicious accident it turned out to be. It all started when we were looking for rice to go with some Indian food we had picked up earlier (which surprisingly didn't come with any). That's when we found this little spot. The owner, incredibly kind & welcoming, didn't hesitate to sell us some rice even though we weren't planning to dine in. But then we saw their Saturday specials & something told us we had to try it.
One bite, & we were completely hooked. The flavors were bold, rich, & absolutely unforgettable. We ended up putting aside our original takeout & fully committing to this new discovery. It was that good.
Sadly, we had to leave town early the next morning, so we didn't get a chance to come back before heading home. But that one meal lingered in our minds. My husband & I kept talking about it how flavorful everything was, how warm & genuine the couple was, & how we had to come back. We made a promise to ourselves that we'd return the following year.
& we did.
& just like that first time, they did not disappoint. The craving that built up for an entire year was completely satisfied. Their Saturday specials, the nasi lemak, & the noodles they made for my husband every dish was packed with flavor & soul. You can tell they cook with love. Everything tastes homemade in the best way possible comforting, authentic, & deeply satisfying.
What made the experience even more special is the couple who runs it. The husband & wife are some of the kindest people we've met humble, friendly, & so welcoming. On our return visit, his wife offered me a cup of chai tea, which was the perfect touch for the cold day. It was warm, fragrant, & felt like a hug in a cup.
We genuinely can't get enough of their food. I could eat it every day & never grow tired of it. This place is more than a restaurant it's a reminder of how food, made with heart & care, can create lasting memories. To the amazing husband & wife behind these dishes: thank you. We'll be back again & again.
Oh.... & did I mention? We came all the way from Boston. We drove almost six hours just to eat here again… & it was worth every mile.
chicken fried rice & kotu roti was my favs, nasi Lemak was good, fried noodle was good but I prefer the other stuff
We took the nasi lemak & the shrimp noodles & both were delicious!
The shrimp noodles were well coated in the sauce & were packed with vegetables! It gave off a cozy feeling as if it was a home cooked meal 🤤
It was my first time trying nasi lemak so I cannot compare it, but I can still say that it was enjoyable! The fried anchovy gave it a nice crunchy texture when you add it to your bite & the sauce on top of the coconut rice was nicely spiced!
I would definitely come back on a saturday to try their Saturday special as recommended by the owner!
The BEST food ever which a very laid back atmosphere!! The fried noodles, nasi lemak, daily specials, & mango lassi are sososo good. Felt like being back in Malaysia & I'm sure their Sri Lankan food is top notch too. Please support this lovely local business!
Delicious! Finally tried out this neighborhood place. Very friendly service & the food was delicious, especially the Kottu Roti. Kids loved the noodles.
Very very good taste ,i like the fried noodles with chicken & shrimps.
Friendly owners. Everything I've had here has been super delicious -- from the kottu roti, ayam rendang to the friend chicken noodles, it's all great! Edit: Consistently good. Arguably the best restaurant in Parc-Ex, & one of my faves in the city.
Was walking in the neighborhood & searched on Google for recommended places, & this restaurant popped up. Was welcomed by a very nice & friendly man & he gave me good suggestions. The food was great. I ordered Nasi Lemak & noodles/ chicken. Spicy & flavorful. The family back home agreed & was happy about this discovery.
I ordered sea food noodles for five people for take out. I asked the owner to put it on one tray. When I went to pick up, the tray was ready. The food was simply amazing & the tray was good enough for 10 people. The owner is a real kind & pleasant person to deal with. He offered me masala tea for free which was delicious. I highly recommend their food. Thank you.
Best noodles in Montreal period. No need to go downtown. This is the place.
I went to try this restaurant with a friend, & we both were super impressed! We ordered Nasi Lemak & Kumar recommended the chicken noodles. Both were delicious, service was friendly & fast. We'll definitely be back to try the other things on the menu.
