La saveur des plats a redonné de la couleur à ma vie monotone de Montréal. Les plats étaient copieux, savoureux & le gérant du restaurant très accueillant. Passez y faire un tour ;)
Superb Malaysian food that you can't find anywhere else. Real nasi lemak! & the owner is very kind. The reason he gave the restaurant its name isn't because he claims it's the best in Canada - although it's certainly one of the best in the city - but because *Canada* is the best. A true gem of a place, highly recommended!
Cravings satisfied!
Tried their Nasi Lemak & Rendang for take out last February & back for Nasi goreng today & it hits the spot.
The Nasi lemakis as what you expect from a Malasian cook, rice fluppy & the the sambal is just at the right spicinness - being heat tolerance has reduced over the years.
The Rendang rempah is more on the mamak version, less sweet & more savory but you can taste the kunyit leaves which was missing on other restaurant that serves rendang.
The nasi goreng was wow all the anchovies really makes it kampung style just missing the chopped chili padi but the sambal on the side complemented it.
The ambiance was 4 star just because parking in the area is a bit crowded.
I had the Nasi Lemak & it was so so so delicious!! So happy I tried this place. Definitely worth making the visit if you don't live around there. I can't wait to go back on a Saturday & try the thali. Lovely food & owners ♥?
This might be what home might feel like. I am not Sri Lankan nor Malaysian but this restaurant & its owners brought me & my friend a newfound sense of belonging & warmth.
The food was high in quality, good & with generous portions
The atmosphere almost felt like eating food cooked by your grandmother.
The owners are absolute gems!
This is a must in Montreal
This is a small casual eatery. Malay dishes & some Malay style South Indian. It's tasty & a different experience for me. I like South Indian & this is similar but with a twist. Example a nice touch to include fried anchovy in the veggies. The chicken 65 & the Saturday special plate was really good. Portions are good. Chicken roll delicious & less spicy than in some Sri Lankan restaurants. Generally this is spicy food but manageable.. & can't wait to try the nasi lemak.
Very nice hidden gem. Not many places to have Malaysian & this place was delicious. Very hospitable, homemade, momma poppa vibes. Servings are generous & food tasty. Will be coming back!
This restaurant truly stands out! The attention to detail in both the food & service is remarkable. Every dish we ordered was delicious & prepared with care. The flavors were bold & authentic, & everything tasted incredibly fresh. The staff was welcoming, professional, & made sure we were comfortable throughout our visit. The overall experience was smooth & enjoyable. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for high-quality dining.
Authentic nasi lemak. The rice was so flavourful & you could taste the aroma of the coconut. Everything blended well together. Lassi drink was great too. Owners were friendly & welcoming.
