Review Summary

Restaurant Bok is widely regarded as a top destination for authentic Korean cuisine in Montreal, with many patrons praising the delicious Jajangmyeon, crispy Tangsuyuk, and satisfying Bingsu. The atmosphere is frequently described as cozy and inviting, offering a comfortable setting for enjoying generous portions at fair prices. While the majority of guests highlight the quick and friendly service, consistent food quality, and excellent value of the menu combinations, a few experiences noted inconsistencies in service speed, occasional issues with food temperature, and concerns regarding staff professionalism and perceived bias. Despite mixed feedback on service efficiency, the overall consensus points to a highly recommended spot for those seeking comfort food and flavorful Korean dishes.

Probably one of the worst Korean restaurants in Montreal. Food took almost an hour to come out. The tangsuyuk was way overcooked. The malatang & jjampong used pretty much the same soup. You have to pay an extra $4 just for meat in the soups. The Jjajangmyun was so bad, our kids refused to eat it. Only giving 2 stars because the one edible item was the spicy jokbal. Also the lettuce wasn't washed & had dirt all over it. Way overpriced for terrible food.

I ordered a take out & pick it in the snow day! Tangsu was still crispy when I get back home. Jajang was okay it might because the noodle sticked together when it was cold! Will go back to dine in again!

We left the restaurant with hefty food babies & dreaming of the next time we’ll be back for more.

The jajangmyeon is soooo good - the portions are large, the price is reasonable, & the chewy noodles go down so easily with the thick sauce.
The Tangsu pork was the first for us, but we were shocked by how light & crispy the batter was.

Shout out to our very considerate waiter who came running out with an apron when he saw me struggling to eat my extremely saucy meal in a white dress.
