Beautiful place, delicious cocktails , great service… but stop there.
Calling yourself a steakhouse is an insult to actual steakhouses. We ordered a cut off the menu « cote de boeuf » 45oz split by 3 people. Asked for medium rare & got medium. Barely a sear on it. Got 2 sides & 2 sauces , mashed potatoes & fries which were laughable in terms of portions, barely enough for 1 person. Just that dish was 310$ before tax.
My wife had the ravioli dish which was 6 small ravioli with a huge sauce in the middle. Was it good? Yes… but again, the portion is ridiculous & is more of an entree then a main for 38$. Look at other people's pictures of the dish .
Do yourself a favor & go to maison boulud for one of the best cote de boeuf in the city & substantially cheaper.
Exceptional service from start to finish. Huge thanks to David P his recommendations were spot on, & he really knows his wine.
This steakhouse is clearly on its way to becoming a must-visit, thanks to both the outstanding quality & the attention to detail from the staff.
The atmosphere feels like a Parisian bistro, & you get that impression right as you walk in, with a beautiful display showcasing their premium cuts. They also have an impressive wine cellar with a great selection.
Special mention to the meat quality especially the wagyu carpaccio, which was absolutely incredible.
The service was truly exceptional, very caring & professional staff, after a long time I felt this type of good service. Food is great some things better than others. One thing that I did not appreciate: when you go to pay, the tips included are not before tax, with the new law tips must be applied before tax so just be aware.

Ordered the dry-aged strip loin & it was delicious! Well cooked & it cut perfectly. Love the ambience of the restaurant as well. Will definitely come back.
Fantastic new steakhouse! While staying at the St Martin hotel, I decided to try this new restaurant. It was a good decision. Great food, great service, & nice atmosphere. Highly recommended!
Menu states dry aged 10 oz steak. Ordered rare. It was rare, & very tough. It was also much smaller than any 10oz ive ever had. For 68 dollars, it really felt like a scam. The sauce was supposed to be perigourdine for an extra price, but it ?only tasted burned bovril. My partner's filet mignon cooked medium well had blood on the plate, which implies steak never rested before serving.
For a restaurant that bills itself as premium steak house, it was worse than the keg.
Had boudin, deviled eggs, bone marrow, & confi leeks for app. The boudin was hard fried. The confi leeks were served cold. The bone marrow was minimal despite being in a massive bone. The deviled eggs were runny. It felt like room service food at a moderately expensive hotel.
The drinks were great. They just made them in batches then would hand them out to everyone in batches which meant waiting. Lots of waiting. They even asked me to wait for the manager before giving me my bill. 30 min later I asked if I could pay so I could leave. Never saw the manager. Bill was 300 +tip for 4 apps two mains 1 8oz glass if wine, 1 mixed drink, 1 glass prosecco.
My fiancé & I planned a date night dinner here. The atmosphere is very nice romantic, classy. The service was very friendly & helpful. The food quality is OK however a bit on the pricey side for what you get. My lobster dish could've come with two tails for the price & the risotto was a bit on the heavy side. I would also recommend perhaps getting a bottle of wine versus by the glass. Depending on the wine, a glass can be $45. Overall we enjoyed our time there. I'll be sure to order the crabcake again it was delicious & well priced.
