Overall, reviews of Restaurant Bar 30 juin describe flavorful African cuisine with a varied menu, generous portions, and friendly, attentive staff, creating a welcoming, lively atmosphere that many say they would return to. Dishes like poulet yassa, banane plantain, goat, fufu with grain sauce and cassava chikwangue receive praise for taste and presentation, while desserts and drinks are noted as pleasant bonuses. Some drawbacks include uneven seating and chilly nights with heating that guests say was insufficient, occasional long waits, and a billing quirk involving tips added by the card in Quebec. A handful of guests mention a busy, festive vibe and strong service, while others note the volume of music being a bit loud at times and a few inconsistencies in service or takeout accuracy.
Ugh I'm so disappointed we went on a Saturday night excited to try it out. We waited 40 mins with no service & no food. We were treated badly. It was dirty & they were more interested in filling their Uber Eats orders than the people in the restaurant. It was a really terrible experience. I never review places but this was so horrible we just waited & waited for service & ended up walking out. It 100% ruined our evening. It sucked bad to be treated with zero respect.

Honestly the best place! Angie's service was amazing, & we can't wait to come back to this restaurant the next time we visit from Toronto! The food was incredible too, we ate every single bit of it. Just an all-around amazing experience!
My partner & I visited this restaurant on April the 17th. We had to wait 2 hours for our foods!! First number red flag. The foods was really nasty & tasteless, I feel like as a Congolese restaurant you should stick to your culture food & not try to cook any west African dishes. The attieke & fish was nasty, my partner got fufu & Peanut butter sauce, nasty & tasteless!! We both have been feeling sick ever since we ate there on Friday night, constant diarrhea & vomitted.if you don't know how to cook certain dishes do not put it on your menu!! The only thing I enjoyed was the a sweet fried plantains.
Le lieu est magnifique & artistiquement décoré. J'aime les tableaux des grands personnages de l'histoire africaine.
Les serveuses ont un sourire particulièrement émouvant.
Manger africain? C'est ici.

The food was really good. I was in a party of 3 & we ordered 4 dishes. All were delicious. I forgot to take a picture of the food before we dug in. The picture is of the plates after. Tastement that it was really delicious.
