J'étais à la terrasse du Balam aujourd'hui, c'était vraiment une excellente expérience , j'ai adoré l'ambiance & la vibe, le Taco Ribeye est monstrueux & aussi merci au manger pour sa recommandation de vin, le petit chablis était excellent 👌

I was surprised that a restaurant like this has such a terrible service. Waiting for the drink forever so that the main came before a simple beer. Waiters wasn't really available but we almost got 2 times the food of someone else.

The restaurant was super nice aesthetically. Our waitress was great. However, we had reservations at the same time as an influencer events & had I known I most likely would have cancelled my reservations. We only had access to a limited menu. We were put in a secluded area away from the main eating area. It wasn't an unpleasant experience but it wasn't also fully great evening. We certainly didn't feel like they wanted us part of it all.

Will probably come back but I'll have to make sure there isn't an influencer event.

Balam is one of my favorite spots in Montreal. The ambiance & overall vibe are incredible, creating the perfect atmosphere whether you're there for dinner, drinks, or a night out. The food is absolutely delicious & the attention to detail in both the service & experience really stands out. The live DJ & violin performances add a unique energy that makes every visit memorable. Highly recommend!

Unless you are an actual customer, front desk is disrespectful. I did not eat here, but I did ask about details. Guy on the front desk laughed at my face & said they could not help. Not even bother to ask anything if you don't have a reservation. Quite disappointed that such a nice place holds no respect for people.

C'était une expérience incroyable, le serveur Valmont était très accueillant, il nous a offert un service impeccable. & la nourriture était très bonne. Aussi, Valérie était toujours attentive envers nous & avec un grand sourire
