We had a wonderful Sunday brunch at Renoir at the Sofitel Montréal, & it was truly a memorable experience.

Chef Félix Duquet was incredibly impressive - not only for the quality of the food, but also for the care & attention he gave to the guests. He personally came by to ensure everything was perfect & made us feel genuinely welcomed. That level of hospitality makes a big difference.

The brunch itself was outstanding: beautifully prepared dishes, refined flavors, & the kind of thoughtful presentation you expect from a top Montreal restaurant. Every plate felt carefully crafted & delicious.

A big thank you to Chef Félix & the Renoir team for making our Sunday brunch so special. We will definitely be back.

J'ai visité l'hôtel Sofitel sur Sherbrooke le week-end passé, en mars, & pendant mon séjour nous avons eu la chance de dîner au restaurant Renoir. L'expérience a été vraiment exceptionnelle.

La cuisine du chef Olivier Perret est incroyable. Chaque plat était raffiné, délicieux & très bien présenté. On sent vraiment la passion & l'attention portée aux produits & aux saveurs.

Le service était aussi impeccable. Toute l'équipe a été extrêmement gentille & attentionnée, ce qui rend l'expérience encore plus agréable.

L'hôtel lui-même est magnifique depuis sa rénovation. Les chambres sont très propres & confortables, & les installations comme le gym & le sauna sont vraiment impressionnantes - le gym est sérieusement incroyable.

Avant le dîner, j'ai pris une petite marche dans le centre-ville & l'emplacement de l'hôtel est parfait. Il est entouré de belles boutiques & de plusieurs endroits intéressants à découvrir à pied. Le service de valet est aussi très pratique.

Après le repas, nous sommes passés au NINI Salon à Cocktails, qui est un très beau lounge avec une superbe variété de cocktails. C'est l'endroit parfait pour terminer la soirée après un dîner au Renoir.

Experiencing the start of Montreal en Lumiere with guest chef Lorenzo Di Gravio was delicious! Every dish was beautiful, the service was attentive & well-paced, & the dining room was elegant & comfortable. Unforgettable night.

My first meal in Montreal & it really set the standard which unfortunately means everything I've had after has been a disappointment.

Set inside the Sofitel hotel this place is best described as a culinary experience. The chef plays with flavors & textures using unique flavors without overpowering you into submission.

It's a subtle dance, teasing & flirting until you fall in love. We ordered the sea water jelly, foie gras, Canadian pike lobster bisque to start with the Chef D'otel, duck breast, pasta with porcini mushrooms & a kids Salmon.

Let's start with the miso bread! Holy smokes it was delicious. Kids salmon is well portioned & they have this decadent orange sauce. Great crust & moist. Sea water jelly with lobster was out of this world. Foie gras was buttery & their brioche was light & fluffy. The duck breast & pasta were good but the star was the Chef d'otel which came with a lobster bisque, a cod which were divine! Never had anything like it. Flavors were subtle & complex highlighting textures & colors.

Don't sleep on the dessert. Like the meal they were uniquely refreshing & fun. Our family including two young daughters gobbled everything up & we were stuffed!

I had a Manhattan cocktail to start & if it was any indication, the cherry was very not your run of the mill.

Best way to describe our experience was a curated collection of wonderful ingredients. Service was friendly, engaging & prompt. We felt catered too & celebrating my mom's birthday with a sparkler on her dessert.

I wish we had more photos but we were just too excited to capture everything. May need to go back isn't the excuse to get photos.

Last night's dining experience at Renoir was a delightful journey for the taste buds. The cuisine, a masterful blend of flavors & finesse, left us utterly satisfied. Each dish was a testament to the chef's expertise, turning simple ingredients into culinary masterpieces. The service was impeccable-professional, attentive, yet unobtrusive, creating a comfortable & welcoming atmosphere. While the decor harkens back to a bygone era, it adds a unique charm to the dining experience, making Renoir not just a meal, but a memorable event. --- Le souper d'hier soir au Renoir a été un véritable voyage pour les papilles. La cuisine, un mélange magistral de saveurs & de finesse, nous a laissés totalement satisfaits. Chaque plat témoigne de l'expertise du chef, qui transforme des ingrédients simples en chefs-d'oeuvre culinaires. Le service était impeccable - professionnel, attentif, mais discret, créant une atmosphère confortable & accueillante. Si le décor rappelle d'une ancienne époque, il ajoute un charme unique à l'expérience gastronomique, faisant du Renoir non seulement un repas, mais aussi un événement mémorable.

Over the last few days, Sofitel Montreal hosted the head chefs from Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi for a week of Vietnamese cuisine at Renoir restaurant.

The event's Vietnamese menu consisted of five courses, with two mains to choose from. At $45 per person, there is no denying the bang you are getting for your buck at a place of this standing.

We were delighted by the experience tonight. Aside from the great dining room & service, it was refreshing to eat Vietnamese gastronomy in a posh setting like Renoir's.
