Experiencing the start of Montreal en Lumiere with guest chef Lorenzo Di Gravio was delicious! Every dish was beautiful, the service was attentive & well-paced, & the dining room was elegant & comfortable. Unforgettable night.
We visited the restaurant the day before Valentine's Day, hoping to enjoy the regular à la carte menu. Unfortunately, we were informed that only the Valentine's set menu was available. It was $85 per person & included an amuse-bouche, a choice of appetizer, a choice of main course from 2 options, & dessert. Amuse-bouche & dessert were great. My friends' beetroot salad also didn't disappoint. Unfortunately, the scallops I ordered were cut in half, making them quite thin, which affected both texture & taste. The braised beef all of us had was also disappointing, as it did not seem cooked long enough to achieve the tenderness one expects from a braised dish. On a positive note, the service was impeccable - attentive, professional, & very courteous. They handled our feedback about the beef very well & kindly did not charge us for the drinks as a gesture of apology, which we appreciated. Overall, while the service was excellent, the food & value did not meet our expectations, & we left feeling somewhat disappointed.

Renoir at Sofitel Montreal Golden Mile serves a refined French-Canadian lunch crafted from premium local ingredients, set in an elegant space with attentive & discreet service.
The food & the store-bought orange juice were underwhelming, especially given the restaurant's reputation & price point. However, the exceptional service we received from Nadjib truly elevated our experience. He went above & beyond to ensure we were well taken care of, & his attentive, friendly demeanor made our visit far more enjoyable.
Had the pleasure of having Brunch at Renoir Restaurant. They truly didn't disappoint. The selection was amazing & the food was scrumptious. The service is also worthy of mention. The staff were very attentive & friendly. The decor is absolutely gorgeous. We truly enjoyed everything about this brunch.
Last night's dining experience at Renoir was a delightful journey for the taste buds. The cuisine, a masterful blend of flavors & finesse, left us utterly satisfied. Each dish was a testament to the chef's expertise, turning simple ingredients into culinary masterpieces. The service was impeccable-professional, attentive, yet unobtrusive, creating a comfortable & welcoming atmosphere. While the decor harkens back to a bygone era, it adds a unique charm to the dining experience, making Renoir not just a meal, but a memorable event.

Food was outstanding. I thought that the nearby Rosely's brunch was amazing but this was even better. Service however was a miss. Our waiter did not look like he cared about our table. He was not present during service, we had to ask to refill waters, order coffee, etc. For the quaity of the restaurant I expect top notch service. I still left 15% because I was for a long time in the service industry & the rest of the staff probably pools tips, but I would have probably left well over 20% had the waiter been attentive. The other staff members that picked up plates from our table were very nice, it was just our waiter that seemed to be having a bad day. He did not even stay to take care of the bill or say bye, someone else printed the bill & took payment. Overall amazing food but our experience was tarnished by the service.
