I went there with my friends & I tried Dal Makhni with Garlic naan, Dahi kebab, Sofiyana paneer, chaat paapdi. Ambience was great. Every single dish was among one of the best Indian dishes I have tried in Canada. Coming from New Delhi I can confidently say that everything was authentic. The chef is very humble & passionate for his work. I had a long conversation with him about his process. 10/10
I went there to enjoy the special thali but after reaching i found out its available on Sunday only plus you have to call first on Saturday for the reservation. Otherwise atmosphere was great .
The food was delicious but the service was terrible. It took well over an hour for our party of 8 to be served our food & several orders were incomplete. When the time came to pay our bills, the waitress had to ask each person what they had ordered. It all seemed very disorganized. Overall, this isn't a restaurant for moderately large groups. Perhaps more for couples or eating solo.

We went here by seeing their Instagram profile. Went with high expectations as it has good ratings & many food bloggers review it. Food is good, not that bad. Some dishes were not as per the Instagram pictures. But for Montreal Standard of Indian food, one should definitely try this place. Avoid going on weekends rush hours as their quality & service might get affected.
This was my fifth visit to Rendez-vous Bistro, & it never disappoints! I first visited when it had just opened for an office party with over 20 people. Despite the restaurant being on the smaller side, it didn't feel cramped at all, & the staff handled the large group with ease & dedication. As a non-vegetarian, I have tried almost all of their non-veg starters, & each one has been out of this world! The flavors are simply exquisite. From the mains, dishes like goat curry, butter chicken, & palak chicken have consistently stood out - perfectly spiced & absolutely delicious. This time, I went with a few vegetarian friends & sampled most of their veg options. The dahi kebab & veg manchurian starters were just amazing, & in the mains, the brinjal curry & paneer butter masala were mouth-watering. The balance of flavors was spot on. The wait staff, as always, were extremely accommodating & attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable. This is a must-visit place for Indian food lovers, & I will definitely be returning for more!
They were quite busy when I went & understaffed but worked really hard for good customer satisfaction. I ordered the shrimp curry with rice & glass of red wine. Clearly, you smell the Indian spice when you first walk in the restaurant. The place a bit more upscale/ classy. So process are a bit up there, but it good. Not the best Indian food I've ever had but good. I recommend for a date, first time Indian cuisine eaters, & business lunch.
Had a great time here with friends & trying out this place. It is Indian food, but they make it so different than everywhere else. The fusion & innovation really surprised me. I really liked the different naans & the vegetarian curries. For date night or for an outing with a group of friends, this place is great !
