Best Indian Restaurant in Montreal - A True Royal Rendezvous!
Hands down, Rendez-vous Bistro is the best Indian restaurant I've experienced in Montreal & possibly in all of Canada. The moment I stepped in, I could feel something special about the place. What I didn't expect was that the chef & owner hails from the royal family of Bilaspur, Rajasthan, the very same state where I was born. It was like a beautiful cultural connection unfolding on my plate.
& here's the twist: the server had the same name as me! Shaurya was absolutely phenomenal, guiding me through the menu like a true connoisseur.
I ordered a LOT & loved all of these:
Dahi ke Kebab - unlike any I've had before; crisp outside, melt-in-your-mouth inside.
Laal Maas - fiery, bold, & deeply authentic. This one took me straight back to Rajasthan.
Paneer Lababdar - rich, creamy, & loaded with flavor.
Dal Makhni - slow-cooked perfection. Easily one of the best I've tasted.
Methi Chicken - aromatic & unique, with a lovely hint of bitterness from the fenugreek.
& to end on a sweet high - the Kesar Pista Kulfi! Served with such elegance & bursting with rich saffron & pistachio flavor. A royal dessert that looked & tasted like luxury.
Every dish had a soul, a story, & a serious amount of flavor. This place doesn't just serve Indian food it redefines it. Montreal, consider yourself lucky to have this gem. & if you're from Rajasthan like me, you'll feel right at home.

Absolutely phenomenal experience at Rendez-vous Bistro! The food was incredibly delicious easily the best Indian cuisine I've had in Montréal. Every dish was full of flavor, beautifully presented, & perfectly cooked.
A special shoutout to Shaurya, whose service was exceptional. He was warm, attentive, & gave fantastic recommendations that truly made the meal unforgettable. His knowledge of the menu & genuine hospitality added so much to our dining experience.
Highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for authentic Indian food with top-tier service. Can't wait to come back!

Absolutely incredible thali experience!
The flavors here are truly unmatched in Montreal - rich, royal, & deeply satisfying. Every dish in the thali was perfectly spiced, unique in taste, & clearly prepared with love, care, & attention to detail. You can tell nothing is mass-produced; each item felt handcrafted to perfection.
The staff were warm & welcoming, & the chef personally came over to ask for feedback, which shows how committed they are to understanding & meeting the expectations of their guests. This level of hospitality, combined with the outstanding food, makes it an easy 10/10 for taste & service. A must-visit if you're craving authentic, soulful Indian food.

I had an amazing experience at this Indian restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious - every dish was full of authentic flavors & beautifully presented. The service was exceptional - especially our waitress ** (Léa)**, who took such good care of us throughout the meal. She was warm, attentive, & made sure we had everything we needed. It's rare to find such genuine hospitality. I'll definitely be coming back & highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a memorable Indian dining experience!

Food was amazing, Pan kulfi was the best I have ever had. Loved Rajputana Chicken, authentic Indian. Worth coming! ❤?

I had the pleasure of dining at Rendez-vous Bistro - Indian Cuisine, & the experience was unforgettable! The food was absolutely amazing - every dish was bursting with flavor, & the spices were perfectly balanced. The service was top-notch, with attentive staff making the whole experience even more enjoyable. Even though it's been a month since my visit, I'm still thinking about the incredible meal I had, & I can't wait to go back. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for authentic & delicious Indian cuisine! Just amazing!

If there is one place not just in Montreal but the whole of Canada you need to visit once to try Indian food is here The Authenticity of flavours is just commendable & what makes it more special is the service from their team Leaticia, Dixit & Parakram. The food & the service Just makes for a complete experience. Not just one dish but the whole menu is recommended.
If you want real authentic Indian food that is custom made to your wishes & taste, this is the place to go. Nice, clean restaurant with friendly staff. We were very pleased with the food & chef paid us a visit. They gave us complementary gulab jamun. Junglee mass is highly recommended.
Delicious Flavors & Warm Ambiance! I recently dined at Rendezvous Bistro & Mixology & had an incredible experience. The food was bursting with authentic Indian flavors, & every dish was prepared to perfection. From the rich & creamy butter chicken to the perfectly spiced biryani, everything was absolutely delicious. The naan was soft & fresh, complementing the curries wonderfully. The ambiance of the restaurant is warm & inviting, with a cozy atmosphere that made the dining experience even more enjoyable. The staff were attentive & friendly, making excellent recommendations & ensuring we had everything we needed. If you're craving traditional Indian cuisine that packs a punch in flavor, I highly recommend this restaurant ! It's a gem for anyone who loves good food & a great dining experience.

The food was one of the best Indian restaurants we have been to & we have been to many as we are from the UK where Indian food is one of the post popular cuisines & have also been to India. They used fresh ingredients which was reflected in the flavour. It was unique & authentic. The staff & service were wonderful & couldn't do enough for us. I would highly recommend paying them a visit if you are in Montreal.

I recently dined at Rendez-Vous & had an exceptional experience! I ordered the paneer, garlic naan, & some ice cream for dessert. The paneer was perfectly cooked, flavorful, & fresh, & the garlic naan was soft with the right amount of crispiness-an excellent complement to the dish. The ice cream was a delightful way to end the meal. The ambience of the restaurant is fantastic-modern yet cozy, making it the perfect spot for a casual meal or a special occasion. The service was top-notch; the staff were attentive, friendly, & ensured we had everything we needed. I remember served by LEA & she had attention to detail when told about my dietary preferences. The location is ideal, easy to find, & well-connected. Overall, this place is a gem for anyone looking to enjoy authentic Indian cuisine. Highly recommend!"
I went there with my friends & I tried Dal Makhni with Garlic naan, Dahi kebab, Sofiyana paneer, chaat paapdi. Ambience was great. Every single dish was among one of the best Indian dishes I have tried in Canada. Coming from New Delhi I can confidently say that everything was authentic. The chef is very humble & passionate for his work. I had a long conversation with him about his process. 10/10
