It took well over an hour for our party of 8 to be served our food & several orders were incomplete. When the time came to pay our bills, the waitress had to ask each person what they had ordered. It all seemed very disorganized. Overall, this isn't a restaurant for moderately large groups. Perhaps more for couples or eating solo.View more
We went here by seeing their Instagram profile. Went with high expectations as it has good ratings & many food bloggers review it. Food is good, not that bad. Some dishes were not as per the Instagram pictures. But for Montreal Standard of Indian food, one should definitely try this place. Avoid going on weekends rush hours as their quality & service might get affected.View more
This was my fifth visit to Rendez-vous Bistro, & it never disappoints! I first visited when it had just opened for an office party with over 20 people. Despite the restaurant being on the smaller side, it didn't feel cramped at all, & the staff handled the large group with ease & dedication. As a non-vegetarian, I have tried almost all of their non-veg starters, & each one has been out of this world! The flavors are simply exquisite. From the mains, dishes like goat curry, butter chicken, & palak chicken have consistently stood out - perfectly spiced & absolutely delicious. This time, I went with a few vegetarian friends & sampled most of their veg options. The dahi kebab & veg manchurian starters were just amazing, & in the mains, the brinjal curry & paneer butter masala were mouth-watering. The balance of flavors was spot on. The wait staff, as always, were extremely accommodating & attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable. This is a must-visit place for Indian food lovers, & I will definitely be returning for more!View more
They were quite busy when I went & understaffed but worked really hard for good customer satisfaction. I ordered the shrimp curry with rice & glass of red wine. Clearly, you smell the Indian spice when you first walk in the restaurant. The place a bit more upscale/ classy. So process are a bit up there, but it good. Not the best Indian food I've ever had but good. I recommend for a date, first time Indian cuisine eaters, & business lunch.View more
Had a great time here with friends & trying out this place. It is Indian food, but they make it so different than everywhere else. The fusion & innovation really surprised me. I really liked the different naans & the vegetarian curries. For date night or for an outing with a group of friends, this place is great !View more
Amazing amazing indian restaurant (I've tasted a lot & this is among my top 3 in Montreal). It's a perfect spot for dates but also a night out with friends & family. You can modify the level of spiciness to full enjoy the beautiful aroma of each dishes. I LOVE the paneer dishes & their naans. If you love mutton, go with this dish : kashmiri mutton rista. If you love chicken, go with this dish : tangri kebab & dum chicken biryani.View more
View more

Tried non veg thali, loved it. Murg methi malai, bhatti ka murg was good.View more
Visited Rendez-vous bistro on the labour day weekend upon seeing good rating & reviews & the restaurant staff justified the rating by ensuring that we got great service & food. Tried Chicken tikka masala (spot on taste), Paneer lababdaar (bit sweet for our taste), garlic nan (superb!), chicken biryani (a bit above average) & paan kulfi (good taste). Loved the experience, thank you staff/owners.View more
This is the best Indian restaurant in Montreal. Each & every dish made with so much perfection. Chef Chakradhar is so talented . This is my new favourite restaurant in the City. The Mighty Thali was so delicious. & totally worth the money. Paan kulfi is out of the world.. Must try: Mango lassi, lavender haze, Mighty Thali, Paan kulfiView more

Amazing food, especially their Manchoorian was amazing. The service by Roshan was great, he even explained a small delay without even asking. Do visit here if you want to taste amazing Indian foodView more
Meilleur poulet au beurre à vie. Naans parfaits. Seul bémol, aucun service en français.View more
Just got back from a great visit to Montreal & had a really wonderful meal at Rendez-vous Bistro. Roshan(sp?) was extremely courteous & sat us quickly at a table under the awning outside despite us arriving 15 minutes early. He was a truly excellent server who took clearly took pride in the excellent kitchen. The meal was fantastic! Best Naan we have ever had & the dishes were beautiful & tasted awesome. Tucking under the protection of the awning with the twinkling lights while the rain came enjoying a beautiful meal was what we were hoping for & luckily found at Rendez-vous! We'll be back again soon!View more
